Today I sit down with the amazing Chala! Chala is a prior Peace Corps volunteer who spent her time aiding in farm work in the African nation Zambia. That is until the global pandemic hit and she and her team were forced to return back to the United States. That didn't stop her or her counterparts love for Zambia or their desire to keep working to help those in the community in which they served. She is a part of the organization Ukupapa that creates bags made and designed by local Zambians who help children orphaned mostly due to HIV/AIDS. Their work helps build schools, create job opportunities, and stimulate the local economy. All proceeds are completely given to aid those folks in need. Katrina is the CEO of Kelda & Co. a new Diversity and Inclusion company focus on shifting the paradigm of how we think about differences where we live, learn, and work. Her company specializes in developing, implementing, coaching strategies and advising leaders from higher education and corporate settings.

Katrina is a dual graduate from Babson College where she earned her B.S. in Management and her M.A. in Global Entrepreneurship Management. Her background and drive lead her to the halls of Princeton University where she was the inaugural Senior Diversity and Inclusion Specialist. Her natural entrepreneurial spirit inevitably lead her to creating her own company Kelda & Co. named after her mother.
