  • Episode 67 - Day 72 - Carnivore Diet: Addressing Anxiety and Finding Balance

On Day 72 of the Carnivore Diet, I experienced anxiety for the first time in over a month. In this video, I openly discuss this unexpected setback and explore potential causes. While the Carnivore Diet has brought many benefits, it's important to acknowledge that dietary changes alone may not be a cure-all for mental health challenges.

I talk about my depression in the past and my anxiety. My goal is to find a sustainable balance that nourishes both my physical and mental well-being.

  • Episode 66 - Day 71 - Carnivore Diet Update: Building a Healthy Relationship with Food

In this video, I'm sharing my progress and insights on Day 71 of the Carnivore Diet. After feeling a surge of energy, I delve into the importance of protein-rich foods like eggs and how they can help you feel satiated without overeating. I emphasize the significance of listening to your body's cues and learning to stop when you're full.

While many advocate for consuming more to reach specific protein intake goals, I believe that every individual is different, and finding a balanced approach is key. Overeating, in my opinion, is not the solution; instead, cultivating a healthy relationship with food and developing positive habits should be the focus.
This video aims to provide a practical perspective on navigating the Carnivore Diet while respecting your body's unique needs. Join me as I share my experiences, lessons, and tips for creating a sustainable and enjoyable dietary lifestyle.

  • Episode 59 - Day 64 - The Carnivore Diet Fatigue Struggle: Is It Worth It?

Craving pizza on the carnivore diet? This is what my husband and I do when we crave Pizza!

You're going to love this incredibly easy 4-ingredient carnivore pizza crust recipe. It's the perfect protein-packed base for all your favorite toppings.
    For the CRUST:
    - 1 can of 12.5 oz chicken in water
    - 2 eggs
    - 1 cup of mozzarella
    - Optional: 1/2 tsp sea salt, garlic, and onion powder or Italian seasoning
IF YOU ARE MAKING 2 PIZZAS, DOUBLE THE INGREDIENTS.
    Directions:
    1. Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees
    2. Grab a pizza pan that has holes in it, (if you don’t have one you can use a cast iron pan or a baking sheet, then add a piece of parchment paper on top.
    3. Mix all your ingredients in a bowl and then evenly spread it out on the pizza pan/parchment paper.
    4. Add the crust to the oven and bake for about 25-30 minutes or until you see that the crust begins to brown.
    PIZZA Toppings:
    I like to add:
    1. mozzarella cheese (as much as you like) and add extra mozzarella slices or don’t, up to you!
    2. I add about 1 tbs of cream cheese
    3. cooked bacon pieces
    4. spicy Italian sausage (make sure your sausage doesn’t have added sugar or other ingredients that your body can’t handle).
    5. pepperoni
NOTE: You can cook the bacon and sausage ahead of time like I do. I like to cook it while the oven is pre-heating so while the crust is cooking I can take that time to clean up.
    OR
While the crust is cooking you can cook your bacon and sausage and set aside in separate bowls.
    ONCE YOUR CRUST IS READY:
    1. Add cream cheese and spread it out like you would a sauce, then add cheese (as much as you like) and all the toppings.
    2. Place your pizza back in the oven and cook for an additional 5-7 minutes or until cheese is melted. I hope you enjoy it, let me know what you think in the comments.
