A Temple Health employee was assaulted while walking along North Broad Street in North Philadelphia yesterday (WED) afternoon.

According to Temple Police, the employee was struck from behind and knocked to the ground near the University's Health Sciences Center. The individual was taken to the hospital where they were treated for injuries suffered in the attack. A person of interest is in custody.
