This mix comes straight from the cassette and digital label ØEN REC. based in Copenhagen. They’re dedicated to forward thinking electronic music from all corners of the world. ØEN REC is run simultaneously with the tropical heaven called ØEN located at Nørrebro. From the outside it looks like a tiny, little cabin - but as always, there's more than meets the eye. We highly recommend to swing by the Øen at Nørrebro and treat yourself with a tape and some good vibes.

This label is a precious little diamond, run by the brothers William and Asger Kudahl. Together they travel foreign regions, may that be Maniitsoq or Hirsholm and their recordings are a perfectly executed slice of prime time bliss.

Yousuke Fuyama is an absolute mastermind. He's an artist, composer, programmer, visual and graphic designer, and a VJ based in Tokyo. He's been studying musical research and sound art and completed Master’s Degree in Media Science at Tokyo University of Technology Graduate School of Bionics, Computer and Media Sciences. His main focus is on the expressions through data interconversion using various interfaces and programmes.

NIKOLAJ ZEUTHEN fra SKAMMENS VOGN besøger THE LAKE RADIO i anledning af deres nye album SUKALEY! & deres besøg på Badesøen Festival 29.07.17. Rasmus Stolberg er vært og der bliver snakket om tilblivelsen af den nye plade, Jakob Millungs irriterende mange talenter og meget andet godt (f.eks revolutionen).

Klangvaser og lyd i porcelæn er omdrejningspunkter for denne udgave af Lydhør På En Søndag. Vi møder lydkunstner Ursula Nistrup, som lige nu er aktuel med en udstilling på Den Frie, hvor hun udforsker porcelænets akustiske potentialer. Hvordan man kan forstå sådan en tilgang til lyd, og til porcelæn for den sags skyld, giver både lydkunstner Claus Haxholm og dine to værter Frederik Heidemann og William Kudahl, forskellige bud på.

After an intense and poetic concert at Copenhagen Jazzhouse in the cool spring of 2017, we met up with Philly-based artist Moor Mother (a.k.a. Camae Ayewa) for a talk about her inspirations, being expansive, and the ways music can be both a form of warfare and healing.

The program features music from her critically acclaimed debut album "Fetish Bones" (Don Giovanni Records, 2016) and recently released songs from the 2017 album "The Motionless Present".

Vi mødes i “Garagen i Øgaderne” i Aarhus, drikker rødvin og får virtuelt besøg af Pavel Büchler fra England, der primært arbejder med at “lade ingenting ske” i sine værker. Lyt med og hør hvordan værterne langsomt finder frem til, hvorfor det kunne være interessant at lytte til en plade dækket til med salt, eller “stilheder” mellem indspilninger af John Cages værker.
