  • Podcast 172 - Session 5 - Phase 3 - The 3 Projects to Ensure You Work On Not In The Business
Working from a beach thing is not the key point here today. But the underlying driver about getting to that point is the following.
Whether you want to have multiple seven-figure businesses or indeed you want to be a basis whereby you can cut the hours back dramatically, whichever one that may be and the outcome for both, maybe you're looking to sell the business in three years and the investor nowadays in recruitment, they'll be looking for a process.
So how do you create your client roles, the lead conversion?
What are the terms and conditions?
    What's the timeline?
    What's the guarantee period?
What are the numbers for each point?
Same for candidates or whether you're looking to create a business that runs pretty much without you. Both of these are dependent on you not being the main driver in the business.

  • Podcast 171 - Session 4 - Phase 2 - The 3 Projects To Automate Your Recruitment Lead And Candidate Flow
The three projects automate your recruitment, leading candidate flow. Now, the reasons why we have a problem with this recruitment lead in candidate flow, and why you can not grow without exchanging essentially your time for money and the stress that comes with it is, first of all, the Manual Processes you use to get clients and candidates.
Number two, you don't nurture the relationship. So most of your clients will not be hiring right now, but they probably will be in the next twelve months.
They may or may not be looking now. So, with those clients and candidates, if we don't nurture them, you're going to essentially treat them poorly. We want to automate that nurturing.
The third problem is we treat all prospects the same, which means there's a split between your clients and your candidates. The client may be hiring now, or it may be hiring in nine months. So, how do you actually filter that out? You can't do it manually. You need to have a process and system for this.

  • Podcast 170 - Session 3 - Phase 1 - The 3 Projects To Attract Clients And Candidates Inbound
So there are three phases we want to work through.
One is we want to attract the clients, attract the candidates.
That doesn't mean that we put out content in our inbox.
We identify who the clients are, and who the candidates are, and then we have an automated campaign so they come into our inbox.
Next, the automation then happens in two places. One is it becomes campaign automation. We need clients, and candidates now, but then also nurturing, whereby we give the opportunity, whereby 90% of your clients, for example, will not be hiring right now, 10% will.
You will not know that maybe until it's on a job board, which is not what you want.
So you want to automate that nurturing. So you're always front of mind and you're the person that's going to come to mind when they're ready.
Same for candidates. We want to accelerate. What that means is to follow in. For a business to get to seven figures, there are literally going to be probably three key projects they're going to use, but then repeat them over and over again.
Come world-class. That's where the acceleration comes from. Is it by doing blogs, events, email, blasts, newsletters, cold calling, or LinkedIn? No, it's becoming awesome at a handful. Just jump to your workbook.

  • Podcast 169 - Session 2 - The Million Dollar Mixing Desk™ - Last 12 Months
Most recruitment people I know, let's be honest about this. First of all, they're in it, for the money. They're saying I'm here to add value. Of course, we all want to help but you started this business because you're tired of working for the man and you want more money. These fees are coming in.
Why can't I have the entire fee? Next, You've done it because you want more time. Maybe it's family, maybe it is the ability to work with your laptop, but you want more time and also you want significance.
Let's be real about this. When we become entrepreneurs, it can be tough. But also we want to be the number one niche. We want the highest fees. So, be real with yourself. These aren't things to be embarrassed about. These are things to be real about.

  • Podcast 168 - Session 1 - The Shift
You may be asking, what is The Laptop Recruiter means?
I call it The Laptop Recruiter for the following reason. We've been doing this now for many years, over a decade, I believe. Originally one of the brandings that I used was The Laptop Recruiter to demonstrate that a seven-figure business can be created from your laptop, not needing an office with the overheads, etc.
    So, what is it?
What used to work no longer works in recruitment search. So the five signals that I have seen myself are successful recruitment search businesses. Also, those posts are failing all leaving severe feeds for the table at the following.
If you're in your recruitment search business now and you're finding that you may be stagnant at a certain number, so maybe 250K, maybe 750K, whatever the numbers have been across the last few years, there's a reason why this is happening and there's a reason why we keep repeating these same actions.
So there are five shifts we need to make today and implement into your business.
In your recruitment search business, you are probably running things manually in a lot of ways. So, what we want to do is use one strategy to bring the clients in. One of the things we want to get a real understanding of and be transparent with ourselves is in your business.

  • Podcast 167 - The Components Of The Recruiters' Brand Are Becoming More And More, It Used To Be Just A Website. Where Do I Start?
So, we have a question here about branding.
“So the components of the recruiters brand or the recruitment businesses brand are becoming more and more relevant. It used to be just a website. Where do I start? “
It's a massive question. How long is a piece of string? Again, let's remember our outcome.
Our outcome is to break seven figures, let's say with a profit figure of 70%, 85%.
    How do we get there?
So branding is something that as we become larger, can become more relevant. When we're a smaller business, we want to be able to control how we bring our clients in and we control how we bring our candidates in.
Now, often with branding, there can be a lot of subjective data. So to give you an idea about branding, if you're unfamiliar with what branding should really mean, it should mean the following:
-Yes, your website should be reflective of your niche and your position in the niche.
-Yes, your LinkedIn profile should do the same.
I'm a massive believer in we go through some foundational steps:
    -So, we own the marketplace,
-We have all the clients with the camps inside the CRM,
-Then run what we call campaign automation.
-Then we add in one authority strategy.
So there are 34 authority strategies we can use. We add in one authority strategy.

  • Podcast 166 - Not Enough High-Quality Candidates In CRM So When A Role Comes In I Have To Manually Find Them On LinkedIn, Job Boards, Etc Taking Time. 99% Of All Candidates
The question is: “The quality of the candidate I sent to the client is not great. My conversion figures of actually getting the offer through and getting him paid are decreasing.”
I think more this recruitment owner is saying is
It's becoming more and more difficult to actually get candidates through to sign off.
So yes, we are in a talent wall right now.
Reasons why I'm not going to go into but the acceptance of we are in a talent wall. So often you might be in a market, which is client-driven or candidate-driven. Lots of now are being candidate-driven. So the quality of the candidate is absolutely key. So if we think about what's actually happening here, so we have a role and then we need the matching candidate. So the first thing comes down to the first thing in doing the steps. So yes, we can come up with a quick fix on this focusing on the candidate.
So how do we get better candidates?

  • Podcast 165 - The Client Ghosts You After The Verbal Offer Given And Takes Ages Chasing
We have a question from a recruitment/search business owner.
“The client ghosts me after a verbal offer has been given, it’s taking a lot of time to chase. ”
This is almost like dating isn’t it.
We should actually look at the real problem here, remember the outcome is:
In this case, let’s say when we need roles therefore we wanna get out our pipeline filled. To do that, it’s very simple.
-We identify the organizations we want.
-And then Identify who the decision-makers are.
-We then have their contact data.
    -Then we run a campaign.
-To get an inbound response in our inbox.
-Then we get into direct communications.
When we get that inbound response we turn that into:
    A. Yes, we are looking into hiring; Yes, we know and like you.
    B. We are looking into hire, But we do not know and like you; We know we like you, but we’re not hiring yet.
    C. Not relevant. Complete different niche
Now C should never happen. Remember you control the campaign, your target organization, target decision-makers, and which candidates you need for those roles.

  • Podcast 164 - Should I Expand My Niche To Get More Roles And More Cashflow
We have a few questions here around saturation in the recruitment market.
The question is this “Essentially, we believe we've saturated the niche we are in, we want to expand our niche.”
So… I’m going to take this from 2 different angles:
The first thing is, We are frustrated with where we are, and we want to open up the niche.
When we work at a business, whether a recruiter who set up their own recruitment business or a recruitment business owner that has been running for over 10 years and they’ve reached the ceiling.
When that recruitment business hits 7 figures, most of the time that Recruitment / Search business owner will say to me “Andy listen, it’s been a fantastic year, now I want to go on a new niche” and every single time I say NO.
The second thing is If you are in a recruitment business right now where they can be extreme again, we’ve had a business owner in a niche, where they just had 42 candidates in one of their sub-niches. However, that same business owner became the highest paid in the entire world for their fees at that time.
When we are having a certain group call, that member said “Andy I want to get retained, what do I need to do?” I said “Well, you can check out this module and I will tell you what to do, Just do it”

  • Podcast 163 - Data-Driven Marketing To Get Clients And Candidates I Just Don’t Get It
"Podcast 163 - Data-Driven marketing to get clients and candidates I just don’t get it"
Question regarding data-driven recruitment and data drive marketing, to bring client leads and candidates. “What are data-driven marketing and data-driven recruitment, I just don't get it?”
The solution is this, first is to understand where you are in your business building process.
Let’s simplify what data-driven recruitment means.
Data-driven recruitment for businesses under a million often can be built into a mountain and complicate things.
What’s the outcome you want? Let’s say 1 Million in revenue.
What’s your data to get you to that point? We have several acquisition points to attain clients, and several acquisitions points to attain candidates.
