In this edition of Locked on Capitals Dan talks about Hendrix Lapierre's season so far. Hendrix had plans for making the Caps this season, but due to his lackluster performance and no openings at the time in the roster he was sent down to Hershey to develop. The move to Hershey has motivated him to develop his game both offensively and defensively so if there's a call up this season he will be ready.

Later in the show Dan talks about Ivan Miroshnichenko and his breakout season. Ivan has scored 8 goals in his first 8 games. Ivan who had non Hodgkin's lymphoma was cleared to return by team doctors and has seen a great start to his season. Ivan is poised to be a really great addition to the Capitals in years to come.

Then in the final segment Dan talks about can the Capitals string together multiple wins. If the Caps have any hopes of making a push for the playoffs, they will need to win consecutive games on a regular basis and win games against really tough opponents.
