  • The One with the London Otters and Craig Bratt from Crawley Town

We've got not just one, but TWO terrific guests on the LGBT Sport Podcast today.

Up first, Mike Malyon from the London Otters Rowing Club shines a spotlight on the Otters' experience at the Gay Games; how he got involved in rowing; and what it was like to win gold in Paris.

Then, Craig Bratt talks about his role as the media officer with Crawley - including who is the biggest joker in the squad; why it's a dream come true to be at his childhood team; and his take on some of 'those' headlines in the tabloids about gay footballers.

And to round things off, Jack shares one of his 'coming out' stories for #NationalComingOutDay. It's a bit rambly and not as concise as he'd like - but as anyone who comes out will know, that's sometimes the way it goes!

  • The One with Bob Ballard

The LGBT Sport Podcast is the BBC's first dedicated programme looking at LGBTQ+ individuals, groups and organisations in sport. The aim is to tell interesting stories from interesting people, and show that sport is a place where everyone belongs.

In this episode, Jack Murley is joined by broadcaster Bob Ballard - a man who has commentated on Olympics, Paralympics, Commonwealth Games, World Championships and pretty much everything in between.

They talk about Bob's love of sport; his approach to tackling commentaries; his experiences of homophobia; and about some of his personal highlights. Plus, there's a trip back into the archives of 'The Other Side' - which is what this show grew out of - to hear from pansexual wrestler Jack Sexsmith.
