A K Cooper-Elliott was born in Germany but now resides in Yorkshire a beautiful and breath-taking county in the UK. Those that live there would arguably say that it’s the best county in the UK, but those that are not domiciled there may possibly disagree, but without a doubt the Yorkshire Dales are renowned for their natural surroundings.

A K is married with two grown up children that have fled the nest. Due to the early onset of Multiple Sclerosis, A K had to retire at a relatively early age from her high-flying executive career in procurement and accountancy, the demands of the job and her functionality issues were becoming increasingly difficult to maintain. With the decision reluctantly taken to step away from the world of high finance, A K turned to writing, giving her a new focus in life, a focus that can be fitted around her physical abilities, for a person living with M.S. some days can be more challenging than others, on a bad day not much gets done.

As far as A K can remember she has always loved books, reading a variety of genres. From reading to writing A k’s life has evolved, she writes both children and adults books, but for the purpose of this podcast we’re going to concentrate on her latest children’s books in The Lilly Everlea series.’

When all the cats in the village fall asleep, Lilly finds out that the link is connected to Mr Muggles’ catnip.

Terrance has created a time machine in the form of a metal marrow. Lilly and Terrance travel back to 1898 to stop the production of the catnip. Professor Muggles is stunned when Terrance introduces him to chamomile tea instead of using catnip. This changes the history of Professors Muggles’ catnip, but someone’s interference could ruin the ingredient. Can Lilly and Terrance stop the intruder from the sabotaging the Muggles’ recipe

As the Everlea Halloween party unfolds, Emily Knott unveils a startling revelation. But what is this mysterious white thingy that continues to terrorize the village?
