Today the SibNerds are talking about Chapter 5!

What's in a name? This chapter and interlude show us how the boys choose their cover names—and how the Thorn of Camorr got his reputation.

The Sabetha insights are so fascinating—our boys are so rattled, and rightfully so! We're excited to see them interact as adults.

This chapter is all about the tea—literally and figuratively! Patience reveals several difficult truths to Jean and Locke. How do you think they're going to handle coming face-to-face with Sabetha again?

We're learning a ton about the bondsmagi—which is truly fascinating. And it sounds like we'll be spending quite a bit of this book with them!

Each Gentleman Bastard book has a distinct flair, and this book is delving into political intrigue, which we're excited to see develop!

Today the SibNerds unpack The Last of Us season 1! While we approached the show from different starting points (Anna has little experience, and Josef has played several times), we both really enjoyed the concept and the storytelling. We get into the nitty gritty of some elements and probably gloss over things we could have talked about for hours! There's just SO MUCH. This may be the best adaptation of a story that we've ever seen—it's true to the game where it needs to be, and it expands on elements that needed it. What do you think, is it a zombie story or not? Today the SibNerds are talking about the Prologue and Chapter 1! We have *finally* met the infamous Sabetha! And we're fans! Flashback book-ends for this section—and it's fun to see Locke as a kid again (even if it's heartbreaking). :) PS. Make sure you're following along with our posted reading schedule! Happy Reading!
