Many creators on the app are having massive business success. For example in Episode 19 with Kendra Jarratt, she mentioned that because of TikTok her Facebook Group went from 300 members to 10,000 members in just 4 months!

Erika was about to quit TikTok but she posted a video saying "Almost 30 & defeated by TikTok, should I go back to IG?"

This video then got 214k views and Erika gained 12,500 followers from the one video.

• If you want to grow you need to be on TikTok
• Make content you want to create, and the right people will find you.
• Your content needs to be quick and to the point
• 8 seconds is the optimal video length

"When you're the only one you win"

Educational Series Content for the Win!

• Educational content is what drives the community engagement and what builds your true audience that will stick around.

Do not be afraid to experiment with your content.

• 80% of your content might fail but 20% will win and teach you how to bring the most value to your community.  
• You can always delete the videos that suck.

It is OK to post a lot per day

• You can build your audience really quickly because of the amount of times you can post per day with out being limited in the reach. 
• Some creators need to create one video but spend a lot more time on it, and some creators are really good at making 10 videos in a day. 

There is no limit to the success you can have on TikTok

• Everyone has the equal opportunity for success regardless of followers or views on previous videos.

Figure out your niche early on.

• What kind of content do you want to make?
•  What kind of audience do you want to have?

Give yourself 6-12 months to really see if there is potential for you on TikTok 

• The first 6 months will be a learning opportunity to see how you are able to create content and your ability to respond to your audience. 
• There is no guarantee that you will be successful on TikTok. 

If you produce 3 incredible videos out of 10  you are a TikTok All Star. 

• Let go of being a perfectionist. 

Do not get caught up on the views 

• If you are growing you are still building your community 
• The quality of your views are so much more important then the quantity.

Her career took many twists and turns, and she felt the corporate world was soul crushing and pushed her further from her dreams.  She used the experience she gained  from her corporate work life  to help her grow a successful fitness business.

The three things Kendra says you need to do if you are starting your fitness journey and feeling overwhelmed is:

• MOVE YOUR BODY!
  • Move today! 
  • If you are a couch person get up and walk.
  • Move for more than 1 hour per day.
  • Elevate your standards of movement because they are far to low.
• INCREASE YOUR WATER INTAKE
  • You can make this change today!
• GET A FITNESS COACH
  • A fitness coach can help you stay accountable and keep you on track.
  • They can help you figure out a well balanced meal plan that consists of 80-90% nutrient dense proteins, and a plan that you feel comfortable with. 

One of the most important things when it comes to food is giving yourself a choice!

Ask:

• IS THIS HELPFUL FOR ME
• IS THIS HELPFUL FOR MY BODY
• IS THIS GOING TO HELP ME TOWARDS MY GOALS

The mindless eating is the problem because you are not accountable in your choices. 

Why did Kendra turn to TikTok?

TikTok helped Kendra come out of her shell, as she is a big introvert, she wanted TikTok to help pull out the extrovert in her. Tiktok helped her break out from having her emotions stuffed down from the corporate environment.

I found Kendra on my FYP calling a creator named Dave out for saying she is weak and can not lift the weights. The video has over 272k views!

TikTok really helped Kendra find her target audience who is women over 40 in early menopause.

Once she started specifically targeting to this group she received over 10,000 DM's asking for help.

So she started a Facebook group which grew from 300 - over 4000 members in 6 weeks, and just keeps growing.
