Join us for a “Family” reunion with cast members Emmy Award-winner Gary Frank and award-winning actor John Rubinstein in The Locher Room. “Family” ran on ABC-TV from March 1976 through June of 1980.

Gary Frank, an original cast member played son, Willie Lawrence for the entire run of the series. John Rubinstein played Jeff Maitland, the husband of Nancy Lawrence Maitland played by Meredith Baxter Birney, on and off for the entire run. John also wrote all the music for the first six episodes, and then scored the “Family” theme for the next four and a half years. Gary Frank’s career on film began in 1974 when he was cast by director Richard Donner in the television movie "Senior Year", which went on to become the CBS TV series Sons and Daughters. Gary went on to do television movies, features, and an impressive array of guest parts on almost every major TV series in the '80s and '90s.

John is an actor, composer, and director, who made his Broadway debut in 1972 in Bob Fosse’s “Pippin.” He has worked on and off Broadway, on film and television for the past 52 years and there is no stopping him. He is currently playing Dwight D. Eisenhower in Richard Hellesen's new one-man play "Eisenhower: This Piece of Ground” at The Rubicon Theater in Ventura.

ISGAP was created in 2004 after being inspired by the late Elie Weisel, who was a great scholar, a Nobel Peace Prize Laureate and one of the most well-known Holocaust survivors. Dr. Small attended the first United Nations conference ever held on antisemitism in 2003 organized by Elie Weisel and UN Secretary-General Kofi Anan. He started ISGAP with the support of Dr. William Prusoff and Elie Weisel was the first President of ISGAP.

Director, writer and actress Alicia Coppola visited The Locher Room to discuss her beautiful and powerful new short film, And You Are…?. The film stars Golden Globe Award-winner Jane Seymour and Zach Barack who will join Alicia for the interview. Zach is credited as the first openly transgender actor in a Marvel film. 

And You Are…? is Alicia’s second short film. Her first, Between Us, is a raw and emotional slice of her personal life. Alicia’s career began on Another World where she played Lorna Devon. She also played Dr. Meredith Gates on The Young and the Restless. In addition to her roles in daytime, Alicia has an extensive list of credits that include, Empire, Shameless, Jericho, Why Women Kill, 9-1-1, and NCIS: Los Angeles to name a small few.

The Bold and the Beautiful’s John McCook and Jennifer Gareis sat down for an in-depth interview in The Locher Room to celebrate the recent nuptials of their characters, “Eric Forrester” and “Donna Logan.”

John McCook joined the cast of The Bold and the Beautiful as an original cast member 37 years ago this month. John won his first Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama series in 2022. Discovered by legendary movie mogul Jack Warner while appearing as “Tony” in the New York City Center revival of West Side Story, John was one of the last actors formed by the Hollywood studio system and talent development program. Universal Studios later signed him as a contract player before being drafted by the U.S. Army for a two-year stint.

Jennifer Gareis joined the cast as one of the Logan sisters, Donna in 2006. She started her career as “Grace Turner” on The Young and the Restless in 1997. Before launching her acting career, Jennifer worked in New York as a model, appearing in the pages of leading publications such as Glamour, Fitness, Esquire and Women’s Wear Daily.

Actor, writer, and director Trevor St. John sits down in The Locher Room to talk about his moving new film, “A Good Enough Day” and his role as “Tucker McCall” on CBS’s “The Young and the Restless.”

"A Good Enough Day" is available to stream on both Amazon, Apple+ and Tubi. Trevor co-wrote, stars and directs the film, which also features daytime favorites including, Sherri Saum (ex-OLTL, Sunset Beach, The Fosters) and Josh Wingate (ex-GH). In the film, Trevor plays photographer Tyler Hamilton, a workaholic who finds out that he’s terminally ill. To prepare himself for death, he decides to heal old wounds and reach out to those he’s neglected.

Actor Russell Todd sat down for a one-on-one interview in The Locher Room to look back at his career as an actor, model, and agent.

Russell is well known for playing the role of “Dr. Jamie Frame” for three years on the NBC soap opera, Another World. He also had roles on The Bold and the Beautiful, Capitol and The Young and the Restless.

Russell also starred in the films Friday the 13th-Part 2 and the remake Where the Boys Are ‘84 as Scott Nash, a role originally played by actor Jim Hutton. Other starring TV roles included the CBS series, High Mountain Rangers and a western for TNT called, Border Shootout, Jake and the Fatman and Riptide. He just wrapped a thriller film called Stiletto that will be released later this year. Russell is also attached to a TV series still in development about the world of Oz years before Dorothy arrived.

Please join actors Mariann Aalda, Jonelle Allen, Lauren B. Martin, Iona Morris, Phil Morris and Jim Reynolds in The Locher Room for a tribute to One Life to Live’s legendary Ellen Holly who challenged racial barriers on daytime television in the 1960’s.

Ellen was one of the first black actors to play a lead role on daytime television, she broke barriers and sparked controversy with her iconic portrayal of “Carla Gray.” Carla, pretending to be white becomes involved in a love triangle with a White doctor and a Black intern.

As Mariann Alda stated after Ellen’s passing in December, the success of that story and the popularity with audiences opened doors for other Black actors to walk through. I was fortunate to be one of them, beginning with the fact that seeing her on One Life to Live made me believe that it would also someday be possible for me.”

Mariann originated the role of “Didi Bannister” on The Edge of Night and is currently playing “Violet Givens” on The Bay, Joenelle Allen portrayed “Doreen Jackson” on Generations, Lauren B. Martin played "Camille Bennett" on As the World Turns, Iona Morris Jackson played “Fiona Griffin” on As the World Turns and Passions, Phil Morris played “Tyronne Jackson” on The Young and the Restless and James Reynolds currently portrays Abe Carver on Peacock’s Days of Our Lives.”

Actress Jennifer Bassey sat down for a one-on-interview in The Locher Room to discuss her return to the New York stage in Grand Hotel: 35th Anniversary Shows.

Original Broadway cast members and special guest stars reunite in an intimate immersive performance of highlights from the landmark Tony Award winning musical.

Jennifer's career in daytime television started on Love of Life where she played Dr. Jennifer Stark. She then landed a role on Somerset as Dorothy Conrad before she moved on to The Edge of Night where she played Abby Wolcott. Jennifer landed the plum role of Marian Colby on All My Children in 1983 and remained with the show on and off for 28 years until the show went off the air in 2011.

Come celebrate the 40th anniversary of All My Children’s “Greg” & “Jenny” with “Greg” himself, Laurence Lau as he sit down for an interview in The Locher Room

Laurence began his television career with appearances on such primetime classics as Happy Days, Eight is Enough and The Waltons. More recently, he’s appeared on Blue Bloods, Elementary, Law & Order, JAG and Frasier to name a few.

He made his debut as Greg Nelson in 1981 and remained in Pine Valley until 1986. In addition to his role as Greg, Laurence played Jamie Frame on Another World, Sam Rappaport on One Life to Live and Brian Wheatley on As the World Turns.

 Laurence just finished writing a book, called Running Naked. He is also in post-production on a short film he wrote and produced called the Long Walk Home.
