Fan favorite Kurt McKinney sat down for a one-on-one interview in The Locher Room to look back at his career working in television and film.

Kurt made his film debut playing Jason Stillwell in the1985 martial arts film No Retreat, No Surrender. He also appeared in the film Sworn to Justice. He began his martial arts training at the age of 12.

In addition to his film roles, Kurt had a number of guest starring roles on some hit prime-time series early in his career including; such Gimme a Break!, Highway to Heaven, and ALF. Recently, he’s appeared on Blue Bloods, Power and the limited series The Thing About Pam.

He is well-known to daytime audiences for his three-year stint as Ned Ashton on General Hospital and his role of Matt Reardon on Guiding Light which he played on and off from July 1994 through the end of the series in 2009.

Kurt recently appeared in the Gabriel Inferno series and is working on a new martial arts film, The Last Kumite.

Emmy Award-winning writer Lisa Seidman sat down for a wide ranging intervew in The Locher Room to look back at her almost 40-year career as a television writer.

Lisa has written for some of the hottest shows on primetime TV starting with Cagney & Lacey in 1984. She went on to write for Dallas, Falcon Crest, Knots Landing and Knots Landing: Back To The Cul-De-Sac to name a few. Lisa also spent five years in Russia writing nighttime soaps and won the equivalent of an Emmy for best show.

In daytime, she has written for Another World, Days of Our Lives, Guiding Light, One Life to Live, Sunset Beach and The Young and the Restless. Lisa has been nominated multiple times for a Daytime Emmy and has won the award for her work on DOOL and Y&R.

Lisa has also taught writing at USC and UCLA.

Emmy and Grammy Award-winning actor Michael Park sits down for a one-on-one interview in The Locher Room. Michael is well-known to daytime audiences for his role as the lovable detective, Jack Snyder on As the World Turns.

Michael won back-to-back Emmy’s in 2010 and 2011. Michael recently starred in the Hulu drama series, Saint X and in 2022 appeared as Philip Abshire in the HBO series The Time Traveler's Wife. He also played reporter Tom Holloway in the third season of the uber popular Netflix series Stranger Things in 2019.

Michael is no stranger to the stage and made his Broadway debut in Smokey Joe’s Café back in 1995. Other Broadway shows include the revival How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, starring Daniel Radcliffe and John Larroquette in 2011. Michael’s most popular Broadway role is Larry Murphy in the original cast of the Tony Award-winning musical, Dear Evan Hanson in 2016. It was this role that earned Michael and the cast the Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album. Mark your calendar!

Julie is a Script Reader for the Meryl Streep funded New York Women In Film and Television Writers Lab and the Austin Film Festival as well as a Script Analyst for Coverfly, a platform that helps writers prepare their scripts for submission. She is on the Daytime Emmys Advisory Panel and a judge on the Emmy Blue Ribbon Panels judging Daytime Dramas. Julie is a lifetime member of the WGA and NATAS.

One of the greatest dance artists of all time, Kristine W sat down for an interview in The Locher Room to look back at her nearly twenty-five years in music, where she has consistently delivered songs that touch hearts and souls and compel bodies to find the mighty groove out on the dance floor. She’s had 17 #1 singles, tying Mariah Carey for the sixth-most Billboard #1 dance hit.

Kristine is lighting up dance floors again with her recent single, “By My Side”, the second soulful pop groove from her soon-to-be-released album. The song is a celebratory homage to the people in our lives who give us unconditional love, support and friendship, no matter the circumstance.

Activist, Author, and Pulse Nightclub Survivor Brandon J. Wolf joins me in The Locher Room to talk about his work as a nationally recognized gun safety and LGBTQ civil rights advocate and author of a brand-new memoir, A Place For Us.

The memoir is out now. Brandon recently served as the Press Secretary for Equality Florida, the state’s LGBTQ civil rights organization. On June 12, 2016, life changed for Brandon. In the immediate aftermath of the shooting, Brandon co-founded The Dru Project, a nonprofit organization that works to empower youth and provide future leaders in the LGBTQ community funding for higher education. Brandon is driven by the reminder that we are obligated to honor those we’ve lost not with empty words or hollow platitudes - but with action.
