The Texas Longhorns needed a get right game ahead of the bye week and got just that against the Sam Houston State Bearkats.

Arch Manning looked like the Arch we expected coming into the season, while Ryan Wingo and DeAndre Moore got into rhythm with the quarterback. The running game left something to be desired, due in large part to the absence of Quintrevion Wisner and CJ Baxter.
