Today’s Women in Crypto story features Laura Shin, a crypto-journalist and a host of Unchained Podcast. Laura is also an author of a book called “The Cryptopians: Idealism, Greed, Lies, and the Making of the First Big Cryptocurrency Craze”. She graduated Phi Beta Kappa with Honors from Stanford University and has a Master of Arts from Columbia University’s School of Journalism. A few years back, she was a senior editor at Forbes and the first mainstream journalist to cover cryptocurrency full-time. Now she does her own thing. Laura’s contribution to this space cannot be matched. Among her most recent findings was discovering who hacked The DAO, which to date is the biggest theft of Ether (ETH).
