Three Lessons I Have Learned (so far) From Rebuilding My Life After Cancer
The lessons learned from having cancer, before, during and after, are endless but as I have been reflecting this week these are the three biggest that have come to me in the last 6 months.
This week I celebrated life by completing the Three Peaks Challenge (hiking Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon in less than 24 hours). It was a year ago since I was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer and I wanted to celebrate my miraculous, survivor status by doing something pretty epic.
The lessons that came to me this week were
Your old life has to fall apart in order to create a new one (ie. the life of your dreams)
What falls away from your life isn’t meant for you, it’s making space for something more aligned with your highest self
Life can only get better from here (if you surrender and let it)
