Unpaid Care Work, or doing the household chores and taking care of children or the elderly, usually fall on the lap of women. Bianca was so happy to meet working parents Ryx and Carla Nabos who really walk the talk when it comes to SHARING THE LOAD at home, and who introduced her to the concept of THE MENTAL LOAD. This concept (that they discovered from a digital comic on The Guardian) is such a game changer! Ryx and Carla also remind us that we have to start breaking these gender roles NOW so that our children will have better chances growing up in a world where women are truly seen as equals.
