We celebrate each participant's progress including those who have already completed a content project! Let's encourage everyone to use the remaining time this month to keep taking imperfect action and finish.

Following the weekend's Extra Credit opportunity to share a blog post and go comment on others' posts, we focused this call on reviewing some of those posts for ways to improve, plus addressing some technical questions around commenting.

Jennifer provides detailed feedback on blog posts shared by participants, including Fran, Rena, Lisa, and Debbie. She offers suggestions for improving titles, images, formatting, internal and external linking, and overall content structure and flow. 

Jennifer welcomed the group and celebrated the progress and momentum of the Mighty Content Challenge participants. She encouraged everyone to continue pushing forward and to celebrate their achievements, big or small. On the live video call and in our online community space participants used emojis, GIFs, pictures, and other forms of encouragement.

Claudette shared wins and AHAs around her blog post series and timing of emails. Rena has shared about clarity around her audience, her domain, and her offers. Conni has shared about the supportive environment helping her to keep making progress. Fran learns the hard way that she really needs better internet speeds to get her videos to upload.

The group celebrated each other for showing up for calls and making progress.

Jennifer discusses how branding is not just about logos, colors, and trademarks, but rather the overall experience and perception that a brand creates. She uses the example of bottled water to illustrate how branding can make a commodity product stand out.

Jennifer introduced the concept of "divergent thinking" and challenged the group to try communicating without using common words or phrases. The goal is to describe something or ask for something in an indirect, roundabout way, as if the listener has no prior knowledge of the topic. This is inspired by the comic artist Nathan Pyle and his "Strange Planet" series.

We discuss examples of 'divergent thinking', the importance of clear, unambiguous communication, removing jargon, and some fun ways to test this out.

In this content coaching session, we dive into overcoming overthinking, using AI tools not to create content but to edit, organize, summarize and streamline; we mapped out email opt-in process flows as members finish their blog posts, and embracing personal style along with the 'What's In It For Me' viewer-focus for welcome videos.

Jennifer discusses the dangers of the comparison game, where we compare ourselves to others' successes and feel inadequate. She encourages focusing on your own progress and journey, rather than worrying about how you measure up to others. Recognizing that you don't see the full picture of someone else's struggles and failures is key to avoiding this trap.

We also have a techie moment where we discussed comparisons in regards to A/B or split testing.

Jennifer explores the idea that sometimes the fear of growth or the desire for perfection can hold us back. She uses this quote to have participants think about growth: “Growth is never by mere chance; it is the result of forces working together.” James Cash Penney

She suggests that participants reflect on examples from their past where "good enough" work was sufficient, and consider how they can apply that mindset to their current projects.

A last minute hot take includes "You don't have to go/get big in order to grow." Agree or disagree?

This call checks in with participants on their content projects, progress in being authentic and even vulnerable as they share.

We discuss projects around vertical videos using Canva for Kim and website and tech issues -to help from overthinking what to create. Vertical videos for Fran around resume mistakes, using wrong features in Indeed and leading to her career coaching.

Jennifer led a discussion on the key themes of the Mighty Content challenge so far, including being authentic, telling stories, and creating content that is meaningful for your audience rather than just posting for the sake of posting. She emphasized the importance of consistency, clarity, and congruency in marketing. Are we sharing on topics that resonate with us, our values AND our offers?

We gave kudos for those who have shared vulnerable content, along a spectrum of what is vulnerable for each of us. Checked in on progress towards being a Mighty Finisher, and were encouraged to embrace creativity like a child learning art and being always proud to share and show off creations.

Seth Godin, among others, has said that "Price is a Story" - so what story is it telling? What stories do we make up about pricing? What assumptions do we make about someone else's pricing or about what our customers may think about the price of one of our offers?

Jennifer discussed how pricing is often arbitrary, using the example of car pricing to illustrate how the same underlying product can have vastly different price tags based on the story and brand. She encouraged the group to examine the assumptions and stories they tell themselves about pricing their own offers. Challenge participants may decide to make their own tests or experiments with pricing.
