The quarterback position at Oregon has a long and storied history. Especially in the last 25 years as the likes of Harrington, Dixon, Mariota and Herbert have all made their name as a Duck and taken their talents to the professional level. But the Ducks had several stars at quarterback long before Kenny Wheaton ever scored. There were names like Norm Van Brocklin, Dan Fouts, Bob Berry and George Shaw. And before the Heisman trophies and Times Square billboards, Chris Miller was making a name for himself in Eugene...even before he put on a Duck uniform.

Nick Aliotti is a self proclaimed college football junkie. His love for the game goes back to when he was a college kid trying to figure out a career. Before college football was a national treasure and well before Oregon football was on the "map." Aliotti would bring a passion and drive to the Ducks that helped turn the program from a perennial .500 team to a national power.

Alex Forsyth is many things. An anchor on the offensive line for the Ducks. A standout on the field with NFL as a real possibility in the future. He's also felt the affects of gun violence. His father was killed at the Clackamas Town Center shooting in 2012. But that's not what defines Alex, something he understood even at a young age.

Sprinters weren't coming from his neck of the woods. But with determination and A LOT of hard work, Williams was able to catch the eye of Tracktown, USA in Eugene, as well as those in the country and around the world.

College softball players can sometimes find themselves identified as just that, only college softball player. The pressures of college life are hard enough but then add on top of that the pressure to perform at the next level and it can get to even the best. And that's what happened to Jordan Dail.

A high school standout at pitching in Virginia, she would transfer from Virginia Tech to Oregon after her freshman year. That's when things started to go south for Dail, as mental health struggles turned into on-the-field struggles, which resulted in more mental health issues. But with the help of others, and her own perseverance, she's been able to fight through and come out on the other side healthier than before.

A lot of people can say they faced obstacles and challenges over the last two years. Very few have faced adversity like what Jaylon Redd has gone through. As a fifth year senior due to COVID, Redd's year got off to a rough start with a foot injury in spring that he would injure again during the season. Shortly after that, Redd got news that what he thought was a stomach bug was actually pancreatic cancer. Following surgery, Redd is now looking to fulfill a lifelong dream of making it to the NFL. Hear his story from humble beginnings in California to how he got to Eugene.
