The key to becoming a great leader, according to Josiah, is taking initiative and being proactive. He shares how his passion for people led him to start Purple Ocean Superfood Bar, a company closely tied to his personal passions and purpose. Josiah's company not only focuses on providing great customer service but also engages in community service by partnering with non-profit organizations like Salt Outreach to support those in need. Starting a small business from scratch has presented Josiah with numerous challenges, especially when it comes to admin and administrative tasks. However, he highlights the importance of having a strong team to support him in overcoming these challenges and achieving continued growth and success. For Josiah, the most rewarding part of his entrepreneurial journey has been building a business and providing employment opportunities. In addition to his business endeavors, Josiah discusses the vibrant culinary scene in Orlando. With a desire to bring new options and variety to a city dominated by chain restaurants, he envisions entrepreneurs buying franchises to make a difference. Josiah believes in creating menus with purpose and love, making a difference to customers and bringing the Orlando culinary scene to new heights.
