This week, Drewby and Yergy head to the island nation of Mauritius to discuss the case of Zaliya Shamigulova, a beautiful young Russian woman who was slowly traveling around the world with her companion and roommate, Elena. However, once Zaliya landed on the island, she began to mingle with some of the locals. This included an IT engineer named Puryavirsingh Sundur. For Zaliya, this was a way to connect with new people during her travels. For Puryavirsingh, it became an deadly obsession...

This week, Drewby and Yergy head down to Savannah, Georgia, to discuss the case of Quinton Simon, and adorable little boy born to a drug addicted mother, Leilani Simon. At the time of our story, Quinton and his siblings were living in the home of their grandmother, Billie Jo Howell, when one morning, Quinton went missing. Eventually, all signs pointed to his mother, 22-year-old Leilani, and after weeks of searching through mounds of trash in a landfill, pieces of the toddler were finally recovered.

This week, Drewby and Yergy head back over to the UK to discuss the case of Bennylyn Burke, a young mother from the Philippines who was well liked in her Bristol community. That was, until a man named Andrew Innes came into her life. After meeting on a dating website, Andrew lured Bennylyn, along with her daughter, Jellica, and an unnamed child up to Dundee, Scotland. What was supposed to be a short weekend trip ended with mother and daughter being buried in cement beneath Andrew's kitchen floor.

She was non-verbal and depended on her mother, Rita, for all of her day to day needs. Although, Rita, who was a school teacher, had been on CPS's radar, nothing was ever done to remove Cristina from her care. But in August of 2019, tragedy stuck after Rita left her daughter in the back of her Volkswagen Jetta for 6 hours in the scorching Carolina heat in her boyfriend's driveway, while the two smoked meth and hooked up inside.

This week, Drewby and Yergy head down to the San Carlos Apache Reservation in Arizona to discuss the case of Emily Pike, a 14-year-old girl who was living in a group home in Mesa. However, on the evening of January 27th, 2025, dressed in a pink and gray shirt, Emily left the group home on foot. She was never seen alive again. On Valentine’s day 2025, hikers were walking a trail in the Tonto National Forest found two garbage bags that contained partial dismembered remains. Test later confirmed that the remains belonged to Emily Pike. To this day, in June of 2025, the person or persons responsible have not been brought to justice.

This week, Drewby and Yergy head to Utah to discuss the case of Gavin Peterson, a 12-year-old boy who was murdered at the hands of his father, stepmother, and adult brother. Gavin was locked in a room without bedding or blankets, and monitored with multiple CCTV cameras. While the other siblings had carpeted floors, Gavin’s room had painted plywood. Tape was laid out in the shape of a box on the floor, and areas in his room were covered with black vomit. The box on the floor was supposed to be his bed. Gavin was starved for days and refused water despite begging for it. He consumed his own waste in an attempt to stay alive. In the end, Gavin died from sepsis, dehydration, and malnutrition. The torture he endured was so horrific that it brought the judge to tears.
