On the warm Summer day of Sunday, August 19, 2001, twenty year old Harold Cooper III was in Bladensburg and at some point called his grandmother — who lived in Virginia — to let her know that he was going to visit her at her home. Harold never made it and seemingly vanished without a trace.

He was said to have been seen getting inside of a four door 1992 Chevrolet Caprice with an acquaintance.

This is where the case starts and ends, but it doesn’t have to.

With the case having such little details and hardly any coverage, I want to analyze the little details that we know, question everything, look at some possibilities, and close with my opinion.

This will probably be the most elaborate analysis done on Harold to date, but for some time now I’ve been wanting to cover it because he deserves answers. If we get no answers from this episode, the least he can get is renewed attention and to let his family know that we haven’t forgotten and we are still looking.

On the late evening of Saturday, January 13, 2024, 25-year old Marissa Carmichael had left home for a night out at a club in Greensboro with a friend who was staying with her and her family. The pair was supposed to go to the club then see where the night led them. This night was supposed to give her a break. She was a mother of 5, someone was watching the children, so this night out was well-deserved.

At some point, into the early morning of Sunday, January 14, Marissa and her friend ended up parting ways and she ended up with another acquaintance — a male acquaintance, and they ended up going to an Airbnb to attend a party, but they never entered the home.

Somehow, plans shifted and she and the male acquaintance had left, went to a nearby gas station, and she was left stranded. Marissa contacted law enforcement at the gas station after her items were removed from this mystery persons vehicle and had no way home — she simply needed help, but there was no cause for emergency. Greensboro PD said they were on their way, and by time they arrived — she was gone.

A phone call was made by Marissa later on into the morning, she was calling to get in contact with her friend for help, but then things went dark and quiet.

A case as cold as this one deserves a fresh start, a new outlook, and answers.

In the late night of Friday, January 4 into Saturday, January 5, 2002, in Bartlett, Tennessee, 37 year old Cherryl Pearson was home spending time with friends. Just a few hours prior, on the Friday night before, Cherryl attended the Memphis Grizzlies basketball game at the Pyramid.

Everything appeared okay on the surface because Cherryl had plans that early Saturday morning to babysit her sister’s children while she went to work, but that never happened. Cherryl’s sister arrived to her home and there was no answer — no sign of Cherryl. It was odd because Cherryl would not have missed it for anything.

As a beloved pediatrician that served her community, known for her promptness and love for children, this seemed unlikely for her to not be present to watch the children. Things just went…quiet, but for reasons unknown.

This immediately sparked concern.

Cherryl had no known enemies, no issues within her community, but something somewhere in between felt odd, out of character for Cherryl.

After concern drew stronger, it was discovered than an odd call came in that lasted only a few seconds…and this call could be the missing piece of thus puzzle or something far more sinister to this 24 year mystery.

We’re going to discuss the case details surrounding her cold disappearance, understand the timeline, analyze every detail to understand who may be involved and what they would gain, and close with my opinion.

On the brisk, cool, late night-early morning of Friday, March 16, 1990, sometime around midnight, 17 year old Toni Clark had just left her cousin’s home in Oakland, California, after a short visit, and was headed home to San Bruno.

On that evening, she was driving her boyfriend’s 1979 Chevrolet Camaro. The Camaro was known to stall, and that’s exactly what it did as she was on the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge.

While stalled on the bridge, another driver rear ended the Camaro with a heavy impact, which pushed the vehicle into the barricade. Police were called to the scene, and they arrived within 6 minutes of the report, but oddly, they only found the driver who rear ended the Camaro, but no sign of Toni — the driver of the Camaro — so we think.

She just seemingly vanished. The other driver was there, but Toni wasn’t as if the car was either left abandoned or something occurred in that split second.

Just a week later, Toni’s mother received a chilling call that opened the door for many more questions, possibilities and…uncertainty.

After almost 40 years of unanswered questions, theories, the exact timeline of what occurred that evening, and what really happened, it makes you question if anyone had a hand in this or if it was just an unfortunate accident.

On Monday, June 2, 1969, an electrical crew was dispatched in Baltimore City to fix two lights that had burned out on the water fountain in Druid Hill Park, located in Baltimore. One of the electricians had to climb a ladder to access the top fountain when he made a shocking and gruesome discovery — a decomposed body that was faced down in two feet deep water, still dressed in clothing. The body had reached a significant amount of decomposition so it was unclear, at the moment, what happened and how this person ended up in the fountain — located 380 feet from shore.

The body was identified to be of Shirley Lee Wigeon Parker, a 35 year old woman who was reported missing five weeks prior. Sadly, her search came to a haunting and devastating end. Though her body was found, there was an identity match, but what exactly happened, how she ended up there, and why, are all questions that are unfound — leaving the family of Shirley and the Baltimore area riddled with nearly 60 years of unanswered questions.

We’re going to look at the who Shirley was, details of Shirley’s last moments on record, a recap of events from someone close to her and possibly the last to see her alive, possibilities of how this could have happened, and close with my opinion.

On Wednesday, January 19, 1994, in Los Angeles, California, 54 year old Mary Ann Johnson left her job as an account representative at department store, Robinsons-May.

No one knew this would be her last moment on record, not even Mary. It was supposed to be a typical day — you know, just another day…but something was different.

Mary Ann was separated from her husband, and told her colleagues that she was supposed to be meeting up with him that day — that Wednesday or sometime during that week. That meeting never happened, according to Andrew.

It was found out that some kind of warning was issued to her a month before. A warning that leaves us with even more questions and curiosity, and if it relates to what happened later. The location in which her belongings were found were odd — and there may be some messaging behind it. In fact, this entire case seems to be a message — a warning, or even an answer to that warning.

For over three decades, Mary’s case was left cold and left us with many unanswered questions, mystery, and tragedy — with very slim details that not even the LAPD could piece together.

We’re going to start with all of what we know about Mary and her life before she went missing, get into the case details, the facts, the warning, and close with my opinion.

On the cold evening of Monday, January 11, 2010, in Starkville, Mississippi, 26 year old Lester “LJ” Jones, Jr. had set plans to visit his fraternity brothers in Jackson, Mississippi for a regular meet up.

It was supposed to be a typical drive for Lester from Starkville to Jackson. He even stopped passed his mother’s home in Tupelo to visit his brother before his trip to Jackson.

LJ had it all planned out, but something happened somewhere in between. We do know what was supposed to be a quick stop at a local Exxon (now Shell) gas station at the Sprint Mart in Flowood, only 15 minutes away from Jackson, turned to be the last known location of LJ on record. There is footage of him there, but somehow things go dark.

Until, there was an odd discovery, a cell phone found in the men’s restroom. It was an oddity because the phone belonged to LJ, but he had already left the gas station and assumingly en route up the road to Jackson.

After 15 years of questions, mystery, calls, and theories, it makes you question if someone had a hand in this, LJ decided to leave on his own volition, or something else like an accident. Since 2010, there has been no trace left of LJ or his 2002 Ford Expedition — both just vanished.

In 2023, Case Episode 9, I covered a case on Asha Degree who went missing in Shelby, North Carolina on the cold early morning of Monday, February 14, 2000 — Valentines Day.

Well, there has been an update. It has been 25 years since Asha has been last seen.

To give some backstory, nine-year old Asha Degree was last seen by her father after a late night check in on both siblings, Asha and O’Bryant. Asha’s father, Harold, saw both children were sound to sleep in the bedroom that they shared. On the evening before, Sunday, February 13, there was a bad storm with freezing temperatures which may have contributed to a nearby car accident that hit a power pole and knocked the power out. It was a Monday, so in just a few hours they would be up and getting ready for school. However, Asha’s mom, went to wake the children to start getting ready for school at around 6:30am, and she noticed that Asha wasn’t in her bed. O’Bryant later reported hearing some noise from his sister, but by then Asha was already gone — she was nowhere in sight.

On the cold morning of Tuesday, February 23, 2010, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, twenty-five year old Tameka Anderson had set plans to purchase a used vehicle from a private seller.

She had it all figured out with how she was going to get there, how she was going to pay for it, but somewhere in between something happened and things went dark.

It was unclear whether she made it to the end destination to purchase the vehicle or if she even made it to Galvez — the city where the vehicle was.

After fifteen years with no answers and no explanation, it makes you wonder if there is someone out there that holds the answers — you know, street code. Perhaps someone close to her; maybe not wanting to talk because they’ve seen something or know something.

Details about Tameka’s personal life, including their childhood, family dynamics, and behavioral history, are currently unavailable, limiting the scope of this analysis. However, we’re going to look at the facts of the case, retrace the timeline of what we know, look at the case details, breakdown every element to piece together this nearly 20 year mystery, explore the one possibility, and close with my opinion.

On Monday, May 4, 2020, DaVohnte and his girlfriend took a 4 hour road trip from San Francisco to Mount Shasta, California. The trip was supposed to be what you’d call a “spiritual retreat” — a trip that his girlfriend recommended. They were expected to return on the next day, Tuesday, May 5 — just in time for Davohnte to attend his nephew’s birthday party, but that never happened.

Davohnte’s girlfriend contacted his relative, and informed her that they got into an argument and went separate ways. All was fine, one may have thought, until he was seen on camera walking, seemingly normal, then things go dark. It’s like he just vanished.

With odd behaviors from the girlfriend, there’s a high possibility that she may know more than she’s leading on. There’s also a possibility that he fell victim to someone or something in Mount Shasta — especially with the double-sided reputation it holds.

Another chilling case that doesn’t have an explanation and no end in sight, but the answers are there. This wasn’t an ordinary trip, and I’ll explain why. We will get into some details about DaVohnte and who he was before he went missing, the case details, information on the retreat destination and about Mount Shasta, theories, breakdown every detail, and close with my opinion.

When you mix new age spirituality with vulnerability, you may open yourself up to a multitude of things. In this case, I believe the answers are right there but the one who holds the answers just isn’t ready to talk, I believe. Maybe after this, she will be.
