Landon and Parker ponder whether elbows and wild finishes are becoming the norm on the last lap. They dive into Rajah Caruth giving the big dogs a run for their money, almost beating Byron and Eckes in a career-best finish. Meanwhile, they analyze Parker's weekend and Larson emerging victorious in a wild Xfinity race, after sending JHN into the inside barrier like a bowling pin. The two investigate what happened in the late race restarts that resulted in controversy across every NASCAR fan base as Ross finally ends up on the wrong end of a scuff up.
In other racing news, F1 legend Lewis Hamilton has expressed interest in an "old-school" IndyCar test and even hinted at a possible stint in NASCAR. Speaking of surprises, Max Verstappen impressed with a third-place finish in the iRacing 24 Hour of Nurburgring, bringing back memories of the hosts' own 24-hour adventure at the green hell. The MotoGP crowd witnessed intense racing, brutal crashes, and even a heated fight with a hilarious twist, while the Indy season kicked off with Alex Palou's dominant. Finally, Parker looks forward to North Wilkesboro while Landon divulges a little bit of historical testing data, revealing that the fabled track might be closer to Dirt Bristol than anything else on our calendar!

Parker and Landon ask a crucial question: Is F1 at war with US motorsports? They also dive deep into the Formula E race at Monaco and its awesomeness. They discuss the potential for a US WRC event, and why Ryan Newman might be underestimating the task ahead of him in his debut with Rick Ware Racing.
They explore why the next-gen car is creating great racing at 1.5-mile tracks and why team presidents and principals have the safest job in motorsports - looking at you, Otmar Szafnauer. Additionally, they investigate where the Andretti F1 bid stands and where the money is coming from. There's a lot more to dive into on episode 2 of the Money Lap podcast!
