Monty & Jake are talking Mask vs No Mask. Do you wear a mask? The guys discuss the national debate on the importance of wearing a mask to prevent the spread of CoronaVirus. Monty says it’s vital! Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey, who has been against mandating masks, launched a mask awareness program and Jake says it’s too little too late. MLB is close to an agreement to play it’s season, but owners and players are still apart on the number of games to play. The guys update the Jeep situation and there is a shocking development, for the better. There is also a discussion on the John Bolton book and the salacious details it contains …plus the guys discuss the disaster that was Monday in the Monty Compound!

Monty & Jake are talking MLB Vs MLB Players …who is at fault? Will there be a season? Do you even care. Monty says there will be a season, and Jake has a high level of frustration that there won’t be baseball on the 4th of July. The NBA has a plan in place, but Kyrie Irving is not on board. Monty says he has every right not to be, and talks about why Kyrie is talking about forming a new league. The guys also discuss the opportunity the NBA has to further the conversation on race equality in this country, and not playing would be a lost opportunity. Tucker Carlson is now the #1 rated host in cable news, but advertisers are fleeing his program. The guys discuss Tucker’s comment on race and Black Lives Matter, plus Jake says he does not watch cable news…with on exception. Monty & Jake are talking LIVE PD and COPS being cancelled in the wake of Georg Floyd’s murder, is it an overreaction? Will LIVE PD find a new home? How will the new normal change the way we watch TV and view shows like LIVE PD? NASCAR announced it has banned the Confederate flag from all of it’s properties and events, is it too little too late? Does the delay in action diminish NASCAR’s action? Does NASCAR have an image issue? The guys talk about kneeling during the National Anthem. MLB owners made another offer to players that would have meant the players would make 35% of their total compensation for 2020 …of course the players rejected it. The players want to be paid 100% for the games they play. The guys debate, and talk about MLB’s missed opportunity. Is a 50 games season better than no season? The guys discuss the difference between the NBA, MLB, and the NFL when it comes to labor peace, and Coronavirus. There is momentum to have Colin Kaepernick back in the NFL, do you think it happens? The guys debate, and wonder what role Presidents Trump’s twitter feed will play in that process. The coronavirus is back and raging in states like California, Texas, and Arizona…what are you willing to do? Would you go out to eat? Go to a pool party? A wedding? Monty & Jake are talking Drew Brees Vs The NFL. Brees, the QB of the New Orleans Saints, made strong comments against kneeling during the National Anthem at NFL games. Brees was immediately condemned for his comments and issued a full retraction and apology …but is it enough to bring him back in to the good graces of his teammates? FOX News host Laura Ingraham defended Brees while ripping LeBron James. Monty says Ingraham is the perfect example of hypocrisy and racism based on her comments. A radio show in Phoenix made a big mistake when talking about George Floyd and white privilege …but will there be any repercussions? The Guys discuss the situation in Phoenix where the Mayor of Phoenix has not spoken to the Governor of Arizona since BEFORE the George Floyd murder, and according to reports the two are enemies who are no longer speaking at all. Monty celebrates a big win in the stock market and new unemployment only helps his case!
