Luke Caudillo- Former UFC fighter, now a trainer/coach for some of the top UFC fighters like Justin Gaethje. Caudillo also has his own podcast GU Unfiltered & is the host of Gladiators Unleashed based on big game hunting. Born and raised in the railroad town of North Platte, NE. Like a lot of rural Americans, Caudillo began hunting and fishing with his brothers, cousins, and friends at the age of ten. After high school, Caudillo got involved in mix martial arts (MMA). "I was a wrestler my whole life, I missed the competition, and fighting looked fun to me," says Caudillo. Next thing you know fighting became his career. MMA was good to Caudillo, as he made it to the top level of the sport (UFC) and currently has made coaching a big part of his life.  Caudillo states, "It keeps me around the game...I want to give the younger athletes a chance to experience everything that I experienced.  It was just plain good for me, kept me out trouble, and gave me drive on a daily basis.” He has enjoyed seeing his two joys come together, fighting and hunting.  Hunting has always been about family and friends to Caudillo, and now it's about his teammates too.  Not to mention, Luke is excited to take his daughter Eva out into the outdoors! Bobby is joined by Luke to discuss Knowledge, Wisky, Hunting,  Archery, UFC, Justin Gaethje, Colorado, Outdoor Life & much more. Nikki Sjoden aka 2k’s is a 4th generation Colorado native and has always had a strong connection to nature. Spending time outside is her temple whether it’s hiking, outdoor mediation/yoga, skiing, snowboarding, split boarding, riding motorcycles, exploring the backcountry or simply getting off the grid, it’s where she feels most at peace and has come to realize just how important it is for her everyday well-being. Having a successful business as an insurance broker for the past 15 years has given her many incredible opportunities but deep down she’s always known that there was something more fulfilling career wise waiting for her that included her passion for helping people heal from the inside out. After spending 10 months in New Zealand in 2016 and completing a 200-hour yoga teacher training, it was time to take the first step into launching her mountain health & wellness coaching business, Empowered Awakening. This year she graduated from nutrition school and will be integrating that knowledge into her own daily life as well as with her clients and is excited to announce a big program launch coming up at the beginning of 2021. Today, Nikki is living in Steamboat Springs, Colorado where she gets to explore and connect in the outdoors every single day!  Bobby is joined by Nikki to discuss Human Heath, Recreation, Health and Wellness, Skiing, Snowboarding, Timbersled /Snow Bike riding, Harley Davidson’s, Colorado, Family, Outdoor Life & much more. Sarah Slaton is a songwriter that expresses pathos both poignant and relatable (Denver Westword). An Arkansas native, Slaton taught herself to play guitar in the shadow of the Ozarks before making her way out West to Denver. Slaton founded and fronted the Colorado trio, EDISON, recognized for their tireless touring efforts. The band traveled over 150,000 miles between 2014-2018 and with a relentless DIY approach signed with Rhyme & Reason Records. Edison toured with Iron & Win, Jared & The Mill, and opened for Nathaniel Rateliff, Gregory Alan Isakov, Andrew McMahon, and Shakey Graves. The band saw national acclaim with their debut LP, Familiar Spirit, with positive reviews from Consequence of Sound, No Depression, and features on Daytrotter, Jam In The Van, and Relix Sessions. Slaton stepped out with her first solo single with a summer-ready tune, Dance In The Sun. The song channels Fleetwood Mac with its multi-layered vocals and vintage guitar tones. The Colorado artist flew to Los Angeles to work with Lewis Pesacov (Local Natives, Nikki Lane) who produced and engineered the co-write. His neighbor, Garrett Ray (Vampire Weekend), swung by to lay down the drums. The Colorado artist heads into 2020 with collaboration on the mind after assembling a band of friends who join Slaton on stage. Mainstays are Sarah Joelle (of Lola Rising) on the keys, Lief Sjostrom on the cello, Matt Fink on the drums, and Kind Dub, a socially conscious hip-hop duo, joining festival sets featuring their collaboration tracks, "Water In The Well", "Limited Time" and "Elevated Life”. Bobby is joined by Sarah & her dog Copeland to discuss, Touring, Colorado, Music, Red Rocks Amphitheater, outdoor life, Covid-19 & much more.
