A lot of people think that only those super-wealthy people with money to burn can invest in real estate. The truth is, real estate investors can also be average people who have a passion for providing others a good place to live. Today’s guest, Angel Williams, talks about that in this episode. Angel has been involved in real estate investing her whole life but began her personal real estate investing journey in 2003. She is a co-founder of The Academy Presents and a Managing Partner of Lorren Capital, LLC. Angel has experience in single-family home rentals, small multifamily home rentals, and passive investing in multifamily syndication deals. Angel graduated from Baylor University in 2000 with a BBA in Economics, and in 2002 with an MS in Economics. Providing educational opportunities will always be in her heart, and theacademypresents.com is the vehicle for her passion for spreading real estate investing education.
In this episode, Angel addresses the biggest misconception about real estate investing. She also talks about why most millennials prefer not owning a home. Angel will also give her advice to young people who wish to begin investing in real estate. Join us and listen in!

Tweetable Quotes:
“What we want to do is create the best environment we can at your price point. We're going to provide the best living conditions that we can, whether it's a class-C, a class-B, a class-A, and that's our goal. That's our fiduciary responsibility to our investors, and we have to keep the residents happy, comfortable, and just proud of where they are.” - Angel Williams
“I feel like us as humans, we do make decisions based on emotions, and that is what makes us human instead of just the numbers and the calculations that come behind it. At the end of the day, we are humans and humans are operating the business plan, and it's really based on that gut instinct that I feel like people should listen to, instead of just listening to all these pretty numbers and having that shiny object syndrome.” - Taylor Cu
