Benjamin Markowitz owed Jesse James Hollywood $1200. So, in broad daylight Jesse and his friends beat up and took Nicholas Markowitz, Ben's 15 year old brother. Everything was going okay, Nicholas was spotted with Jesse's crew all over town, until Jesse got scared of getting in trouble for kidnapping Nicholas.
