After two days of on-ice work, the Nashville Predators rookie camp players are in Raleigh, NC for the start of their NHL Prospect Showcase today. On today's Locked On Predators, Nick and Ann talk about the young standouts from the last two days and what Preds fans may expect from the group as they take on the prospects from the Carolina Hurricanes, Florida Panthers, and Tampa Bay Lightning. One prospect Nashville fans have been wanting to see since he was drafted in 2020 is Yaroslav Askarov. The young netminder performed well over these last few days, but we will tell you where he really shines according to his teammates off the ice. Milwaukee Admirals head coach Karl Taylor put together some exciting forward lines, and we'll share the forward trio we are most excited to see play together this weekend. Finally, Ann shares the one defenseman who may be flying under the radar among Predators fans. We'll talk about the growth of Spencer Stastney and hear from him as he looks ahead to next season in the pros.
