In their quest to lift the Super Netball trophy this year, the NSW Swifts picked up a bit of a secret weapon midway through the season.
After losing three of their first seven games, including an upset to the Adelaide Thunderbirds, the team decided they needed a shift in mindset if they were going to have a crack at the title.
Before the COVID chaos started, the Swifts flew Emma to Sydney for a one-day workshop during the bye week... and they got hooked.
For the rest of the season, through all the interstate travel, quarantine, time spent away from family and lagging fatigue, Emma was on the other end of the phone ready to help them through it.
Their game became more consistent as they learnt to be present in the moment and their composure in the grand final was a poignant representation of the self-awareness and level of control they'd learnt under Emma's guidance.
In this bonus episode, Britt sits down with Emma Murray to find out more about her work with the NSW Swifts and Richmond Tigers.
