...and your work is to step onto your path anyway. You do this by following your intuition, by trusting that your curiosities are leading you right where you need to be so that you can become the deepest, most aligned version of yourself—the you that is here to serve in the way that only you can. At the start of your spiritual journey, you won't likely know what exactly this means for you. And it can be frustrating, nerve-wracking. You may be desperate to know what you're here to do. But here's the thing: it's meant to be a mystery at the start. It's meant to be revealed over time. Trusting the process is how you learn to trust yourself, to trust Spirit, to come into harmony with your soul. Only when you learn to trust with all your heart will you learn the depths of what it is your soul has come to this earth to do.

There are periods in our lives where everything seems to be moving too fast—work, school, our social lives, our minds. This feels distressing. We long to re-centre, feel calm, but we can't quite remember our way back there. And so, we slog through, feeling like the only way to reconnect with our peace is by "getting through to the other side." 

Many people live this way. But, for those of us that are conscious, we know in our souls that this isn't how we want to move through life. We know that there's a better way, a more aligned, more joyful way. We've heard about nervous system regulation and rewiring of the brain. 

But, for many, there remains a gap between the awareness of the fact that we could move through these periods with more grace, and the implementation of the tools required to actually live this way—with less fear, less anxiety, more ease, and more serenity. The way we are intended to live.

That's why I recorded this episode. To bridge that gap and help you bring yourself back to a state of calm. 🕊

Hello my loves, this episode is all about how to live a deep, inspired life—regardless of external circumstances. I've noticed that in this digital age, especially now post-Covid when so many are free to live wheresoever, there's an almost perfectionistic tendency to create the "ideal life." I've surely felt it, and it was made manifest in my fixation with finding the "perfect place to live"—a place where I could "find fulfilment" in every which way imaginable. Don't get me wrong, it is a beautiful thing to introspect and to discover what it is that makes you come alive and then go on out into the real world and find artwork, cities, traditions, people, rituals, etc. that help you align with this inner flame. 

The problem comes in when we become overly attached to the external world and depend upon certain aspects of it to bring about our internal spark. Why? Because we feel sad/depressed/anxious when we are separate from these things. True peace comes from building an inner world that is so rich that it feeds you on a cellular level, removing any desperate need for pieces of the external world.

I talk about how, when we can live this way, we release control and invite in curiosity and creativity, and how these energies allow for a bigger, more joyful life than we could have ever imagined for ourselves. And I talk about ways we can create this inner sanctuary. I hope this is of service x
