We are incredibly excited to share this interview with Portland Trail Blazers star Anfernee Simons. Ant is such a bright young talent in the NBA and we were so impressed by his mindset. Topics include: JJ and Tommy open with Western Conference odds and the Darko Rajaković rant on the referees after the Toronto Raptors vs. Los Angeles Lakers game. Then Ant joins the show and opens up with a story about JJ Redick humbling him during his second year. Then Simons talks about Evan Turner as his team vet, being the only American player to go straight from high school to the pros, learning from Damian Lillard, developing a clutch mentality, his favorite "Dame Time" moments ever, what he considers to be the best scorers in the NBA and much more. We are always psyched to welcome in our good friend Tim Legler to talk all things NBA. It's been roughly 30 games and we can start drawing some real analysis from this season. So what have we learned and what are we looking at for the rest of the season? Topics include: JJ on Derrick White playing like an NBA All Star, do the Philadelphia 76ers need to win an NBA championship to validate Joel Embiid's amazing play? Also, does you need to have an elite defense to win an NBA championship and more on the offensive explosion this year, Tyrese Haliburton and the Indiana Pacers coming down to earth after the IST, how James Harden is adjusting to playing with Kawhi Leonard, Paul George and the Los Angeles Clippers, should the Oklahoma City Thunder make a trade?
