  • JH Soeder Talks To June Stoyer About Haddie's In Our Closet
When most people go away for the weekend, they come back with great memories of the things they did, the people they saw, etc, etc. What if you went away for the weekend and came home with a new friend? However, there is just one slight detail about this friend that might be a bit difficult for you to explain. It just so happens that this friend is actually the spirit of an African-American nanny that has been stuck in her home for the last 150 years! For someone like J.H. Soeder, this was a very interesting situation because although he had been communicating with spirits since he was a child, he never had one that was stuck in a different time. This certainly was a challenge! In the book, Haddie's In Our Closet, J.H. Soeder talks about his unusual friendship with a spirit named Haddie. The relationship was not unusual because she was a spirit but because she was stuck in a time when white men did not befriend slaves and treat them as equals. J.H. has the unique opportunity of enlightening Haddie about how much the world has changed as well as helping her to “make the decision” to move on. In this segment of The Organic View Radio Show, host, June Stoyer talks to award winning author and famed animal communicator, J.H. Soeder about his latest inspirational book which is about friendship, family and enlightenment. This will really open your eyes about what Hollywood tells us about the spirit world and the huge difference about what the true reality is. Stay Tuned!

  • Can We Survive Without The Lords Of Nature?
When it comes to nature, every plant, every creature, every micro and macro organism plays its part. Human beings are notorious for quickly destroying wildlife for the simple reason being that these creatures are either difficult to cohabitate with or are just a nuisance. It is unfortunate that people are so disconnected with nature and do not see how each creature plays an important role that impacts other creatures (human beings included) “Leading scientists working around the globe are learning that these much feared predators may in fact hold a key to life itself. It is the presence or absence of top predators that affects the health of the entire ecosystem.”-Lords of Nature The Lords of Nature: Life in a Land of Great Predators, is a captivating documentary which tells the story of a science now discovering top carnivores as revitalizing forces of nature, and of a society now learning tolerance for beasts they once banished. In this segment of The Organic View Radio Show, host, June Stoyer talks to Karen Anspacher-Meyer, Executive Director, Green Fire Productions and Craig Miller, Southwest Representative Defenders of Wildlife. We will also discuss the issues with efforts to minimize the protection offered to these species under The Endangered Species Act. Stay tuned! • Dr Goulson Talks To June Stoyer About Bumblebee Growth
In the world of beekeeping, neonicotinoids have maintained the spotlight as the scientific evidence continues to grow regarding the decline of the worlds bee population. Neonicotinoids are defined by the EPA as a class of insecticides with a common mode of action that affects the central nervous system of insects, causing paralysis and death. All of the neonicotinoids were registered after 1984 and were not subject to reregistration. Some uncertainties have been identified since their initial registration regarding the potential environmental fate and effects of neonicotinoid pesticides, particularly as they relate to pollinators. Data suggests that neonicotinic residues can accumulate in pollen and nectar of treated plants and may represent a potential exposure to pollinators. Adverse effects data as well as beekill incidents have also been reported, highlighting the potential direct and/or indirect effects of neonicotinic pesticides. Therefore, among other refinements to ecological risk assessment during registration review, the Agency will consider potential effects of the neonicotinoids to honeybees and other pollinating insects. Dr. David Goulson, Professor of Biological Sciences at the University of Sterling and his team have conducted new research titled “Neonicotinoid pesticide reduces bumble bee colony growth and queen production.” In this special series called “The Neonicotinoid View”, host, June Stoyer and special guest co- host, Tom Theobald talk to Dr. David Goulson, Professor of Biological Sciences at the University of Sterling to discuss his research.
