She shares the success of offering a Hospital at Home (HAH) Pathway to orthopedic patients, specifically foot and ankle patients.

HAH programs provide hospital-level services outside the brick-and-mortar hospital setting and have demonstrated effectiveness in medical populations. For patients that are healthy enough, can we reduce the number of nights they spend in a brick-and-mortar hospital? How do HAH outcomes compare to a baseline cohort over a matched historical timeframe?

Today we remember our friend and longtime PAOS member, Michael “Mike” Weber, who passed away on July 28 after a long illness.

Mike was a dedicated supporter of PAOS, a respected colleague, and a very good friend. It was my privilege to interview him for this podcast a few years ago, and in his memory we are honored to share that conversation again.
