The Outdoors Show

Just a couple days shy of Christmas, Capt. Kevin and Capt. Scott were talking about the VERY chilly weather fixing to show up on the First Coast.  But how is the changing weather going to affect the fishing?  The answer – and the forecast – may surprise you. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to you! […]

With Christmas just under a week away, of course the guys had gift ideas on their minds.  So there was plenty of talk about great gifts, not-so-great gifts, and just plain odd things to find under the tree (or the big stuff that just gets a big red bow on it). In hunting news, Kevin […]

Okay, so maybe “ice fishing” is a little bit of an exaggeration, but that chill in the air, on the wind, and and in the water is no joke.  Capt. Kevin and Capt. Scott talk about the stark contrast between last week’s heat wave and this week’s frigid feel, and they give you the rundown […]

‘Tis the season…for fishing!  After a serious cold snap, the weather has taken a positive turn, and the fish are absolutely loving it.  The conditions are perfect for amazing in-shore and offshore fishing.  Tune in to check out all the species that are getting hooked – the list is amazing. Bigger than fishing updates and […]

Capt. Kevin and Capt. Scott didn’t have an opportunity to hit the water very much this week, mostly due to the lack of charters.  But that didn’t stop them from ACHING to get on the water, because the conditions were so nice!  Now the question is this – as we get closer to Christmas, is […]

Somebody on Team OS is absolutely jones-ing to get a buck, and that means the guys have to change their show strategy.  Which team member, you ask?  Jeff’s wife Tera!  After her close encounter with a Georgia Monster during Thanksgiving weekend, she HAD TO get back to the hunting property to see if she could […]

YIKES!  It has been downright FROSTY here on the First Coast for the past couple of days, and boy, has it had an effect on the water…and the fishing.  Find out from Capt. Kevin and Capt. Scott what it’s done, what’s it’s doing, and what kind of effect this deep freeze (almost) is going to […]

The boys found themselves in the wake of Thanksgiving, thankful for everything they have, of course.  Jeff was so thankful he stayed in Georgia to enjoy it!  So, Moe’s Fishing Forecast co-host Capt. Scott Shank sat in with Capt. Kevin and Capt. Kirk to spin some yarns and have some fun. Here’s your L.V. Hiers […]

To kick off Thanksgiving week, the boys were on the road, doing the show LIVE from Hagan Coastal Outfitters inside the brand new Hagan Ace Hardware in Yulee! Early on, Jeff brought up his memories of his first trip to Toys’R’Us when he was a kid.  Well, that’s EXACTLY how everybody felt inside the new […]

Capt. Kevin made his return for extended OSR in Indiana, and let’s just say he wasn’t happy to see how things had shaped here at home on the First Coast.  Sure, we made it through the nightmare of Tropical Storm Eta (wink, wink), but things are just, well, not really worth coming back for him!  […]
