Hundreds of University staff have signed an open letter declaring racism and white supremecy have no place at Auckland University. The University has said it won't remove white supremacists signs from campus. We speak to Chief Human Rights Commissioner Paul Hunt about our hate speech laws. Another story about vegans copping flack for their lifestyle. A woman asked an Auckland bar, HeadQuarters, if they had vegan food, only to receive a sarcastic rant back. Over Facebook the HeadQuarters page worte to the woman saying "We do a very nice lime in water, a small glass as an entree, a jug for a main with a gorgeous H2O sauce." The panellists discuss why vegans seem to get so much hate. It was announced this morning that the accused Christchurch gunman has withdrawn his application to move his trial to another city. Meanwhile, Chief Censor David Shanks has opened up about the terror attack on March 15, saying it was probably the most of harmful media event ever inflicted on the people of one nation. We've had a few stories lately about neighbours at war and today another, this time out of Napier. The offending object: A basketball hoop. It all started when the Hiha family put up the hoop on their own property, for their teen boys. A neighbour complained to the local council and staff told the family they'd have to move it.
