A race example of easy continuity in my work. Knowledge and understanding are infectious. Worse still, they make you a willing infection vector.
I understand this character's hatred more than anything else I think I've written about previously. Not to some bizarre monster, but to the concepts and forces that made my mind simultaneously so limited, and yet so inquisitive. I hope you are not familiar with this hatred, but if you are, you have my sympathies.
Stay safe out there.
Another absence. But I am here, always, in some form or another. And here you go! Some words, in audio! And it talks about weird philosophical truths that you probably won't understand, and that I probably don't understand either!
This guy piggybacks off an older episode, 'The Beast With No Skin.' https://www.buzzsprout.com/811181/episodes/6098242
I have a bad habit of revisiting old work, but the concepts therein are mostly continuous. Every story, every idea joins together. The characters are mostly window dressing. That's definitely my greatest weakness as a writer.
The Fourth Sign is another large, ridiculous project I've been working on. You might have seen some of it already, although I titled it (Abyss) or something like that.
Anyways, this guy isn't a demon. So his narrative ought to be easier to swallow.
I enjoy donning my old guise from time to time, even though I know the old mask cannot lead to anything but suffering in the long run.
The stories in this place have a context which is long and deep. Let this old soul show you some of it.
A story of true madness, brought about by an actual dream of mine.
It should go without saying, but I do not endorse using your dreams to inform your worldview. As advice for creative writing? Sure. As actual advice for how you should conduct your life? No. Obviously.
And coincidence proves itself to be just that. A fabricated tale to dispel paranoia? Maybe. I think I'm just having fun.
I love coincidence. Without all the facts of a matter, coincidence is often seen as anything but. And how can you blame the person who sees coincidence as providence? Either interpretation will leave you in the dark, most of the time.
