Is this just a tale about how important information communication is? Is it a warning against the evils of the stock market? Or is it just a made up tale about nothing that will ever happen?

Yes. 

This one actually has a part? Like it's a successor to something. 

Yeah.

Pt? Part what? Second time that's shown up. And it will probably show up again. It just means that, well, they're all connected to the same event, but the actual time... well, that can vary. 

Doing that classic Pantheon thing of investigating old(ish) motifs from a different perspective. Perspective's a weird, weird thing, and a lot of the stupidity we have baked into ourselves is a result of our inability to morph and shift our own outlook. Well, I mean, who can blame us. We are always just one person, after all. 

Ignore the weird words. Making up words is hard.

I haven't been to many pawn shops.

Don't steal, kids. Unless you really, really need to.  And your 'need' better be a need. All too frequently people confuse the words 'need' and 'want'. Very different spellings, kids. Shouldn't be that hard. 

What's often more frightening than the bizarre is the mundane. Most grand scale problems we find ourselves encountering are the result of minor stupid decisions compounded upon each other ad nauseum. It's just the factors of time and information distribution that change these problems from mundane to eldritch in our perception. 

But I'm not saying anything new here, am I? 

Oooh, it's an episode about a door? Isn't that a bit boring?

Well, it's not really about the door, duh. Or is it?

I cannot tell you how many times I had to rerecord this because the audio file got corrupted. Okay, three times. Which seems not that much, but it's basically the only story I've had that problem with. Okay, that and one other. But it's just weird. Three times. Over a long period of lackadaisically revisiting this, saying to myself that I'm finally going to release it. Almost like this story is cursed!

It's not. Literally just annoying coincidence. That's what most bad things in life are. There's a lot of bad, irrational things out there, but we should never discard our own capacity for logic in our attempts to understand them. That's not the message of this story, but it is the moral of the story of me having to rerecord this so many times :P 

The job exist.
