She is a first generation immigrant and was a refugee for most of her childhood. She has experienced first hand the effects of war, poverty, trauma, and what takes to heal and become resilient.
I have deeply healed, learned, received and experienced love, joy, and community.
Her longing to find home, belonging and emotional health led her into the healing arts - she was pulled by the question and call of “what helps us heal our hearts, minds and bodies?”. How do we integrate and include our suffering (mental, emotional, physical, spiritual) and see it as an expression of our energy - our life force and vitality - instead of as simply disease - in a world where we have all and continue to encounter much challenge and imbalance. This is the question she holds space and works with.
