In this podcast we are going way back to the heart of the ‘80s by way of the single greatest martial art ever put on celluloid: Karate!

Following on from the original Karate Kid trilogy, (No, we're not paying attention to that last one with Hillary Swank) Cobra Kai is a TV series that started life on the short-lived Youtube Red and then got picked up by the streaming giant Netflix, where it has gathered a cult status among fans of the originals.

Quinny and Dion may have been around for the original theatrical run of The Karate Kid, but Peta and Jill were born in the same year of its release, so who are the real winners here? Stephen King's The Stand has been hailed as one of his finest works and it's been equally derided as being essentially unfilmable, or at least more than any one film could handle. Isn't it good then, that they're having another go at adapting it, over nine hours this time instead of just six? Well, that really remains to be seen.

It's nearly 2021 compadres, and that means it's time to celebrate having survived 2020 with the much-requested return of something special: DC (or "Drunk Cinema") RIDES AGAIN! There wasn't enough alcohol in the world to raise our opinions of this film for our first review, so this time around we explored whether it's possible to drink enough* to erase from our minds the stupid moustache-less CGI Henry Cavill horror.

Lin Manuel Miranda's hip-hop musical Hamilton has been a worldwide, record breaking phenomenon and in the middle of the pandemic Disney decided to release a recording of the stage show directly onto their streaming service Disney+. Fans who had only been able to listen to the soundtrack album were suddenly given the chance to see the show in it's most successful and well known form, with the cast that had made it so popular. What was once inaccessible either due to ticket price or unavailability, was suddenly right there on our screens and oh what a treat it is!

Originally recorded on a dark Friday night in July, this podcast is a special holiday treat for musical lovers everywhere. Peta, Dion, Jill, Quinny and Bec all gathered together to sing the praises (both literally and figuratively) of this impressive show on a live Twitch stream. The technical nightmare that followed was a thing of legend, and we appreciate all the live viewers who persevered with us on that night, but now we can release the final podcast version for your entertainment.

After an unprecedented 15 seasons of monster-hunting, Impala-driving, wise-cracking, good-hair-having adventures, The CW Networks longest running show has finally come to an end. Finally we can lay Supernatural to a well earned rest after it's long and occasionally tortured story wrapped up, during this long and occasionally tortured year.

With well over 300 episodes of TV in the can and a legion of fans who have been invested since day one, this ending was always going to be a challenge. Did they stick the landing, or crash into the mats? This podcast attempts to find out the truth.

Dion and Quinny are the most wayward of sons when it comes to Supernatural, having a shared experience of almost exactly 5 episodes between them. Thankfully Jill and Peta are here to educate, illuminate and generally entertain with their encyclopaedic knowledge of this shows epic run!
