In a mysterious Nazi lab beneath the church, the outnumbered G.I.s come face-to-face with enemies unlike any the world has ever seen. Alita: Battle Angel

Ever since seeing the O.V.A. of Battle Angel: Alita in the early '90s, James Cameron has been working towards adapting it for the big screen. Now with the help of Director Robert Rodriguez, he's finally made his dream project happen! Does this CGI heavy adaptation faithfully bring the characters and storylines to life? Or have we slipped and fallen deep into uncanny valley?  Dion and Quinny are joined by Peta Producer for this wide-eyed review!

Sex Education

Sex Education is the new British comedy series commissioned by Netflix, starring Asa Butterfield, Gillian Anderson and a supporting cast of everyone's neurotic hang-ups about sex that they're probably too embarrassed to talk about. Quinny is joined by Bec (Ardella), and Peta-Producer to talk about this oddball little series that doesn't just go "all the way", it then has the awkward pillow-talk afterwards.

Bandersnatch

Bandersnatch is a bleak, bold new story-delivery from Netflix and the mind of Charlie Brooker. Part television event, part game, part misanthropic dystopian choose-your-own-adventure, Bandersnatch responds to the question: "What if I could control the story's protagonist's choices?". Join Dion, Bec (Ardella), and Peta-Producer as they try to figure out if there's a "good" ending worth fighting for, or whether you're wasting your time by trying again.

Ralph Breaks the Internet

Ralph Breaks the Internet is the follow up to 2012's incredibly successful Wreck It Ralph. Quinny and Dion interrogate our intrepid, roving reviewers Bec (Ardella Cosplay) and Jill (Breathless-ness) on whether or not this sequel manages to maintain the careful balancing act of wistful nostalgia vs modern storytelling, that the first film handled so well.

Does Ralph actually break things? Is it entertaining? Why doesn't he wreck the internet? (that is his schtick isn't it?) All these questions and more will be asked and answered in this festive podcast!

Aquaman

It's our 100th episode!!! And for this momentous occasion both Dion and Quinny have stepped up to claim their rightful place as bearded, handsome monarchs on the throne of Atlantis! Who will win their titanic battle for underwater supremacy? Who knows! We do know that Aquaman is the next in line to the currently empty throne that is the DC Cinematic Universe and it has a big fight ahead of it. This film (Set in the 1980s) is the newest addition to the Transformers movie franchise which may be a complete reboot as much as it is  a prequel to the previous films.

Once Upon a Deadpool is an unusual concept that hasn't been seen in cinemas for a very long time (If ever). It's a heavily edited, re-packaged version of a recent film, that is designed specifically to lower its rating and make it accessible to a younger audience; and is a strange beast indeed!  Quinny and Dion are joined by Peta and Bec to experience this cross-breed of shameless marketing and rampant nostalgia for The Princess Bride. Will it live happily-ever-after with a new, younger audience or is it "mostly dead" on arrival and in dire need of a miracle?  Listen closely as we tell you a story...
