The Catholic Church has a new pope... Cardinal Robert Prevost of Chicago has been elected the first American pope in the 2,000-year history of the Catholic Church. The 69-year-old taking the name Leo the 14th. The faithful across the Philly region offering prayers today. Philadelphia police have identified the man who allegedly shot an officer who was trying to break up a brawl outside Overbrook High. They say he has a criminal record and shouldn't have been armed in the first place. The officer is now stable and recovering. KYW Newsradio's Tim Jimenez has more.
