The Pitch

Imported from Norway, it's one of the few iOS games we've covered on the show!

And it spreads and it spreads and it spreads.

Kole, Ben, and David talk about Red Dead Redemption, the Diablo: Immortal backlash, and we ask you about your favorite game dialogue.

• Blizzard upsets fans with Diablo: Immortal, a mobile game.
• Ubisoft censors Rainbow Six: Siege for the Chinese market.

• What’s your favorite line of game dialogue?

• Ben: Red Dead Redemption 2. Left 4 Dead 2.
• Kole: Call of Cthulhu. Resident Evil 7 (Not a Hero, and other DLCs).
• David: Fortnite.

We resisted talking about smoking for so long. It was a temptation, as Rex Ronan is an educational game that aims to teach kids how smoking will mess up your body. So we talk about the absurdities of experimental surgery, and do some GameFAQs stuff... but we fuck it up in the last ten minutes or so. Sorry.

We originally intended for our live episode at Portland Retro Gaming Expo 2018 to be about Super Smash Bros. Melee. However, we figured something out... we don't like playing Smash Bros. competitively. This led us down a rabbit hole that ultimately made us change our plans... What does it mean to play games wrong. Is it even possible? Is that a real or fake idea?

So we turned the episode into an editorial, talking about different ways to play games wrong, and giving a few examples of our favorite games to break.
