The Pitch

War! What is it good for? Apparently some bad slam poetry and an opportunity for us to crack jokes about a silly video

On this fourth episode of Heartbeat City, Cozy is joined by Madeline Allfight to answer your questions.

Special Guest: Madeline Allfight.

Time has resumed. Zack Johnson joins me to talk about the opening of Wolves of the Calla, which finds our ka-tet approaching civilization once more. The Wolves are about to return to Calla Bryn Sturgis. Their goal is to steal half of the children and return them Roont, or ruined. And among the simple farmers is a remarkable man, another castaway from Earth. Someone we've met before.

Children can be so cruel, and frequently they are.

It's the dawning of the age of the possum.

Do you think life is a game? The Sims, writ large, is a massive series that nobody really talks about as a game. It feels like it exists over in a separate category with MMOs and other perpetual games. But its huge success has hidden the fact that it's incredibly important, and also very very fun. We specifically picked the Sims 3 because of its quality of life improvements, but this episode touches on all of the main Sims games at least a little bit.

This episode is very different from our usual releases. It's almost all generalities and mechanics, but there's lots of anecdotes and weird stories at the end.

Thanks for helping us get to episode 200!
