In the final of the summer specials series for plant geeks, Michael talks about cacti and succulents. For many, these are the first plants that you grow as a child. Michael interviews Ian Thwaites, chairman of the British Cactus and Succulent Society, who has had a passion for cactus since he was a child. He talks about his career, and also the ways that the society are attracting new members.

Michael also chats to Jo Adderley, organiser of the event, about what attracted her to the weird and wonderful world of cactus and succulents!
