He gave his thoughts on Matt Canada and how he works for this team. Ryan got into what he has thought of Mitch Trubisky and his performance so far and what kind of spot he is in, in front of a rookie QB. He doesn’t think making the jump to Kenny Pickett is the right move for right now. Michael expects the Steelers to “stay the course” even though it will be very frustrating for the fans, but it’s just the way the organization does it. He thinks it’s more about doing things right for Kenny Pickett in the long-term than it is right now – they’re looking at things more for the next 12-15 years rather than the next 12-15 games.
