Former Steeler Kordell Stewart joined the show. Kordell talked about what the atmosphere is like playing in Cleveland during primetime. He’s riding with the Steelers tonight even though the offense has not looked good. He said it’s still a good situation with Mitch Trubisky and not to panic just yet. He said it’s apparent Trubisky is afraid to make the bad mistake and that could tie into his overall confidence. He said the Steelers aren’t historically a franchise that “starts fast” except for two outliers in 2004 and 2020. Poni asked why it’s so hard for the Steelers to score a first drive touchdown when the offense is scripted out. Adam asked if the Steelers players looked into the Browns players-only meeting or if they’re just focused on themselves. Kordell said he always felt more comfortable in the hurry-up offense and most players do. Chris asked Kordell about why Trubisky doesn’t have the ability to call an audible. Kordell got into situational football and how it might impact Steelers play calling tonight along with what he would do in some instances. Kordell’s game prediction: 2 passing touchdowns from Trubisky, Steelers win a low-scoring game.
