NFL insider Brooke Pryor from ESPN joined the show. Brooke talked about what the feel is at Steelers headquarters with the offense and Matt Canada. She said Mitch Trubisky is in a tough position for how little the offensive coordinator seems to be doing for him to succeed. She doesn’t expect many significant changes tomorrow night, but thinks the offense could get something going with a weakened Cleveland defense. The guys asked Brooke if Najee Harris seems healthy and why the run game is struggling. She isn’t sure that it is Kenny Pickett time just yet even with an ugly loss tomorrow night. Former Steeler Arthur Moats joined the show. Arthur said there are multiple issues with the Steelers offense and said the blame falls both on Matt Canada and Mitch Trubisky. He said the offense can’t be one dimensional and running the ball needs to be more of a focus. Chris asked Arthur about some plays that caught people’s attention when Najee Harris missed open holes. He’s not very worried about it, saying it’s an early season quirk that will get worked out. He said Najee is the type of guy that gets better as he goes in a game and needs fed more and more. Arthur said the offensive play calling has been inconsistent to say the least so far, but he wants people to be patient. Arthur talked about the up-tempo offense and how we could see it a little bit more going forward. Arthur talked about the fan difference between Trubisky and Kenny Pickett. Chris asked Arthur how hard it is on a defense to be on the field as much as the Steelers have been so far this season. He said it all falls back on expectation.
