CBS NFL draft analyst Ryan Wilson joined the guys. Ryan talked about the infatuation Mike Tomlin has with Malik Willis. The guys asked Ryan about Tyler Linderbaum’s status and if the Steelers will consider the Iowa center at 20th overall. Ryan mentioned his mock draft, which has the Steelers taking Skyy Moore in the 2nd round. Ryan talked about the wide receiver class and how the Steelers could find value in the middle rounds. There was also a discussion about Jordan Davis and what kind of difference maker he can be at the next level.

Heather Lyke spoke to the media today. She said money is not the reason why Jeff Capel is still at the helm for Pitt basketball. The guys questioned that due to the fact that Pitt hoops has gone downhill year by year since Capel was hired. She spoke negatively of the transfer portal and claimed her faith in Capel hasn’t changed since he signed his extension.

It seems like the relationship here is more serious than it is with any other quarterback in the draft. Chris thinks the Steelers won’t trade up to get him, but if he’s there at 20, Willis will be the pick. The guys debated if they’d rather have an offensive linemen or Willis, if the linemen was more likely to be a successful player. 

Ray Fittipaldo from the Post Gazette joined the guys. He immediately said he doesn’t think the Steelers will sign Baker Mayfield. He got into the Tomlin-Willis relationship that is brewing between the Steelers head coach and the Liberty QB. Ray got into some of the other off-season plans with free agents out there like Tyrann Mathieu, along with some others on the roster like Stephon Tuitt and Tyson Alualu.

Penguins/NHL writer, Sean Gentille joined the show. He broke down the Rickard Rakell trade to the Pens and if it was worth the price of three players and a draft pick. He said Rakell is an exciting player to add to the lineup and how he could look in the mix with Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin as the regular season surges to the end. Sean thinks it’s a move that should win them a playoff series this season. He took the time to make fun of the guys for their poor performance on the 40-yard dash at Pitt’s Pro Day. He also said The Town is the best movie set in Boston, where Mike Sullivan is from. 

The Purdue vs Penn State game set to kick off the 2022 season has been traded from ESPN to Fox to compensate for the Joe Buck move to Monday Night Football. The guys are surprised Buck was traded for such a lackluster matchup.

Pitt football radio analyst Pat Bostick joined the guys. He talked about what he thought of Kenny Pickett’s pro day performance. He said Kenny is the QB in this draft class that can start right away. He said he carries a swagger and a fearless attitude that NFL teams will love. Pat also gave insight to the Matt Canada offense and how it can work with the Steelers in the post-Ben Roethlisberger era.

ALL ACCESS w/ Aditi Kinkhabwala – Aditi joined the guys following Pitt’s Pro Day. She said it was a big day for Kenny Pickett and it could not have gone much better for the Pitt QB. She predicts that Pickett ends up with the Carolina Panthers at the 6th pick in the draft. Aditi also got in the huge AFC North move that took place Friday – Deshaun Watson to the Browns and how it shapes the division. She included an interesting stat about Watson, too. A name she said is still linked to the 

In this segment, the guys dug into the free agents the Steelers acquired over the last week. Aditi had a lot of praise for Mitch Trubisky and James Daniels. She got into JuJu Smith-Schuster and how he (and his mom) feel slighted by the Steelers for not re-signing him. She thinks Terrell Edmunds could end up back in a Steelers uniform if he is on the open market for much longer. 

Aditi commented on the Baker Mayfield situation and gave a guess on where he might end up.
