The two big stories from yesterday have carried over into today. Jake Guentzel was traded last night to the Carolina Hurricanes in exchange for a couple of draft picks, a couple of prospects and one NHL ready player. If the Canes go to the Stanley Cup Final, the Pens will receive a 1st round pick – it’s a 2nd round pick otherwise. The Steelers are also meeting with Russell Wilson. And we found out the other team interested is the New York Giants.

Ray said this is a bad sign if Kenny Pickett is bothered by something like this because he should welcome competition and want to prove himself. He thinks Pickett will just have to swallow this and move forward if the Steelers sign Wilson. What could happen with Mason Rudolph as we venture close to the start of free agency? Could the Steelers still have interest in Justin Fields if the price on him continues to drop?

The guys think even though Wilson has lost a step, for the price it is hard to deny. We also found out what Mitch Trubisky will be making in his new contract with the Bills – it’s more than what Wilson will make next season. If the Steelers are pursuing Wilson, are they really backing Kenny Pickett the way we have heard they are? What are the chances of this happening? The guys think it might be better than 50/50 right now. The report said Wilson is meeting with another team – which teams could it be and which ones have better situations than the Steelers? And is Wilson really that bad?
