Hour 3: The Steelers Super Bowl odds have never been so low as they are to win Super Bowl 59. What was the longest shot to win the whole thing? The quick research told us the 1999 Rams at 150-1. Is it more of a commentary on the QB position than anything? It feels like the Steelers are yet again bound to finish right around .500 with no real shot of winning a title. What’s the best way the Steelers can make the game’s most important position better? We also looked at a few PFF numbers from the Super Bowl. We heard some audio from around the league, including Tom Brady and Pat McAfee.
NFL Draft analyst Ryan Wilson from CBS Sports joined the show. Ryan started talking up the offensive line group from the Senior Bowl and how they play into the draft. Ryan said Spencer Rattler showed the most during Senior Bowl week and thinks he has learned from his off-the-field moments. Ryan likes Michael Penix as a 1st round pick, but he said a lot of teams see him as a Day 2 prospect. Ryan made note of a few defensive backs the Steelers may have their eyes on to pair with Joey Porter Jr. or guys that could fill the void at nickel corner.
