Wherein Harry tries to avoid paying the Troll Toll, but might still have saved a girl's soul! He may not be the Champion of the Sun, but Harry's words of wisdom, coupled with the coolest mood ring this side of the Atlantic bring a young girl back from the brink while his quick thinking and Murphy's bravery shut down the troll blocking their path.

For a first time writer its an incredible piece of art, and the seeds he plants are awesome to look back on now I've enjoyed much of the harvest feast.

We talk subways, swamps, and libraries, Josh's brain is the exact opposite of a steel trap, and finally, Lyss is grossed out by something more than her brother! (DO YOU BELIEVE IN MIRACLES? YESS!!!). Wherein Harry forces a Faerie Queen to make things right, Murph speaks the truth and is probably right, Agent Green ignores rights, and Charity throws a hard right! 

There's Sidhe machinations, legal hulaboo, aggressive journalism, good lawyering, bad copping, false conflicting, and Bob is as Bob as we've seen him in some time. What's not to love!? And that says nothing about the tense cliffhanger we leave Alyssa on for two whole weeks!! Muahahahah!

Wherein we run into the calm AFTER the storm of last weeks attack. We spend this chunk trying to clean up the mess from when the freakin reaper went and had him some fun (remix)...Investigators of the supernatural and mundane varieties are on the case, though Harry has a concussion and a wounded heart slowing him down. Molly's friend Rosie got saved by our plucky heroes, but her boyfriend Ken made like a parrot and has ceased to be. Rawlins got sliced up but he's still on the case, and we bring in the big guns to help with the interrogations--sorry, I meant big DOG.

Mouse is around, so you know where the crackpot is headed, but we also break down the great and the boring interpersonal deals, things, and whathaveyyous. I seem to be overly giggly this week, but it really is a funny chunk. Im ramping up for a move so guess whether or not I get emotional about the stuff Im leaving!!!

Its not very action packed, but there are great moments galore and TONS to chew through, and there aint no group of listerners on the White God's green Earth we'd rather chew it with! Visiting hours for book 8 part 3 start....RIGHT NOW!!

Wherein Harry tries to take Little Chicago for a spin--he doesnt, tries to keep sexual thoughts about minors out of mind--he doesnt, and tries to stop a monster attack on SPLATTERCON!!!--he sorta does! #SUCCESSish

Our favorite beat cop-cum-detective-cum-beat cop-cum-detective-cum-beat cop is back! Rawlins tries out another supernatural adventure to see if it fits better than last time, and gets sliced and diced for his trouble--thoug not before a great scene showing his badassitude. We revisit the Carpenter house and everyone in it, we hear about the horror movie scene in universe, and we DON'T murder teenagers dressed as vampires, thought its a close enough thing.

We are back to the third pillar in our "Good, Great, and Problematic" breakdowns this week, but there's plenty of good and great to go on about too! Don't forget your nametag and all 3 exclamation points as you join us for part two of Proven Guilty!!!

Wherein Harry watches and talks murder with a dude he hates, has a good convo with a dude he doesnt trust, gets rear ended by a dude he doesnt know, and gets a difficult and dangerous mission from a dude we know nothing about!

I almost spoiled a thing here or there, but I think I stuttered my way out of it. Lyssy gives us some juicy theories and also lets us know what the threshold is for taking care of people (hint: they arent going to be able to appreciate her!)

Wherein the magnificent Sue rides again! Harry takes a back seat to the true hero. He also opens Pandora's Box with a fallen angel and threatens a very powerful Blampire, but the necromancy takes center stage this week. Morgan tries to kill Harry (what's new?), we meet the incredibly fun Warden Ramirez, and we see how obscenely powerful the Captain is as our heroes take on the worst of the worst Kemmler mentees.

Josh takes devil's advocating just shy of advocating for The Morningstar himself and talks about the Social Contract, while Lyssy doubts spectral Malcolm's intentions--distrust for this guy must run in our family.

Wherein Harry gets almost murderfied by the 5th scariest bad guy of the day, but gets rescued by AT BEST the hundredth best rescuer! Butters also forced Shiela to unscramble the letters in her name in this chunk, so he's definitely getting the MVP this week. Bob and Thomas are great in their cameo, the backyard was a'rockin but Cowl and Kumori still come a'knockin, the Wild Hunt is out in force, and there are voices in our heads.

Wherein Harry hobbles up and down too many steps on his ouchy calf to remember the power's out! Not a ton of action but a LOT happens. Harry calls in the cavalry before getting ready to ring up a nasty Fae, Kumori pops up to chat all cryptic like--as she is wont to do, Thomas makes birthday pancakes, Luccio thinks Harry might look good in grey, and Lyss thinks Mac's got a puppy.
